Nicely done! The gameplay felt polished, the art was good, and the game itself was very fun. I don’t think the theme was well-represented, but I had a blast playing.

I did get an error after playing for a while:

SCRIPT ERROR: Invalid access to property or key 'global_position' on a base object of type 'Nil'. index.js:474:18

Thank you so much! Thanks for letting me know.

Really enjoyed this! I loved the little twist where pairs do 0 points—it adds a nice layer of strategy. The gameplay is fun and challenging, and the card animations and sounds make it nice and satisfying. Definitely made me want to play it again and again. You should be very proud!

nice game, pretty fun, maybe I'm lucky because I detroyed the bot haha. Good job!

Good job! I don't think I beat it a single time lol. Thank you :)

Wait, where's the golf? I was expecting a golf game but the card game was a fun surprise. I really enjoyed the ruleset although I just could not manage to beat the bot!! They would always get really good pairs and crush me every time.  Still very interesting and fun to play. I liked the card animations and sounds

I can also clarify one of the other comments -- at 4:15 in my video I clicked the deck by mistake before I flipped 2 in my hand. I flipped the 9 of diamonds at the top of the deck. After that -- the 9 of diamonds mysteriously vanishes. It never shows up in the discard pile or in the next draw.

"Golf" is actually the name of the card game that my game is based off of (with a few tweaks). Tbh, coding the AI for the bot was the hardest thing in this entire project because there are so many scenarios and it needs to do a bunch of calculations, so I'm glad it's hard lol. I also  was rarely able to beat it in a full round. Thanks for showing the glitch, that is definitly not supposed to happen. It was actually really fun watching you play the game.

Thanks for playing and for all the feed back :)

I really enjoyed the gameplay, it was a fun mix or risk, luck and skill. I think the theme was a little weak however, maybe it could've been more tied in with the gameplay somehow. Otherwise great job!

Thank you so much! Thanks for the feedback :)

An interesting card-game gameplay inversion, where you're trying to give your opponent as few points as possible. The decision-making of discarding one of your unknown cards, therefore putting it into the discard pile for the bot to potentially take, is pretty compelling. Good job!

I really appreciate it!

good game. i can turn over the deck card when the game starts, is it a bug? its not an advantage when i turn over the first card on the deck and the bot starts first.

Thanks for playing and letting me know. That was not on purpose.

Hello, I just tried recreating what you are talking about. Were you talking about how after all cards are dealt, a card automatically flips over into the discard pile face up? If so, that is actually meant to happen and it's just to start off the game. If thats not waht you are talking about, can you clarify please? Thanks :)

Nevermind,  someone else has sent me a video of the bug. Thanks for alerting me.

Fix: When starting a round, always click two of the cards in your hand, never the deck or discard pile. If you don't do this, it might have a negative effect on your points.
This is what i mean. i realize that you have write notice about it. :)
