Kewl, kinda hard but it looks a nice idea

nice looking art, but as for gameplay its wayyyyyy to hard.

  • cooldowns are too long
  • no feedback for using attacks
  • no damage or health indicators for enemies
  • game difficulty doesn't ramp up instead starts at a high difficulty
  • player hitbox is way too big

Really cool game. I have one gripe with it — since enemies can shoot right after spawning, I got into a position where I took damage from an enemy spawning next to me. Otherwise, very fun, with good art to boot.

Impressive for a first game! I liked the gameplay loop, having to keep the screen "clean" is a good way to keep up the pace of the gameplay. The sprite's "fullness" conveying health was a nice touch, although for several runs I didn't know that was the case and just thought I was dying randomly.
The upgrades could be a bit more frequent, having to play for minutes before the first upgrade dampens the impact significantly. The challenge felt fair, and consistent. Honestly, quite a fun experience! And that cover art - Possibly best in the jam.

The controls felt clean and the bullet hell elements hit the sweet spot of being chaotic and fast paced enough to be fun without getting overwhelming. My only issue was that you have to look away from the play area to see if your attacks have recharged. This is awesome!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words! I actually added a small scale animation so you could notice it in your peripheral vision when abilities are ready, but I guess it didn’t help much, hahaha
