The work is mysterious and important!
Took me a while but I won! This was incredibly polished and well made. I also enjoyed seeing the use of picocad models in a 2d game! The models were great, the controls were great, everything else was great! I loved seeing the little animations in the background too like the security camera swinging around. 10/10 game

hey i remember you! i was showing you my picocad fails XD The confusion is a common complaint we've been getting so i think for the next version of the game I gotta include a tutorial. The gameplay is you find seashells on the beach at the end of the day, sell them for money or trade them for a kelpy, and use the money to buy kelpy blind boxes, and repeat until you have them all! You can trade with like 2 people but that's very rare but id like to have a trading system in the future. Thank you for checking out our game!!
Glad you enjoyed it even if it wasn't for you! The gameplay in a nutshell (or seashell lol) is you find shells at the end of the day, you sell it to the shop under the wharf for money and you use the money to buy kelpy blind boxes. And the goal is to complete the collection since everyone on the beach is talking about them. But after you collect all of them everyone on the beach loses interest lolol. Thank you for playing!!
Thank you!! We did plan on making a trading system but we ran out of time haha. All we had was the hint of one XD For the steam release we will be creating a proper trading system. You find shells at the end of the day and the time system was there so the players had a limited amount of actions they can do in one day. Thank you for playing and for the detailed feedback !
I was imagining what a top down game about fossils would look like and I fell in love with the idea
I'm adding another submission based off a living fossil called the Wollemi Pine. I saw one in person and got inspired to draw it. I read that scientists matched the tree with fossils from the Cretaceous period (110 mya) so it's a pretty ancient tree.
