Cool mech maintenance simulator

First of all i really like ,the sense of scale you get just being in the hangar facing the mech.

Then i liked the different fuseboxes and switched you have to physically get to on the mech and then interract with.

My only gripe is that the sequences to setting the components should be acessible inside the game ont on an external file :(

Other than that it’s a neat entry, good job to you guys ^^

Great idea for a game. Would love to see with a more fleshed out manual ie something resembling an actual mechanical manual with diagetic branding/lore/terminology etc rather than just a text file.  Its a great idea for a jam game, I'm not sure if it would translate to a larger project but it must have been fun coming up with the different puzzles/systems! I enjoyed this.

I hope you don't abandon this project and someday this mech will go beyond the hangar. I liked it, I want more content. Are you planning to focus on maintenance or will you add more systems and mechanics?

Thanks for taking the time to play our help, really glad you enjoyed it. The main idea was to make a 2 players game where both the pilot and repairman helped each other to repair the mech. I believe we wanted mainly to keep it about the maintenance and we would love to add more systems and mechanics indeed. But truthfully we aren't able to work a lot more on it right now but maybe we will add stuff in the future and polish it more, tho it won't be a near futur sadly.
Thanks again for playing and taking your time to write a comment, really appreciate it !

Nice concept, like others I feel like the game would have benefitted from the manual being in the game rather than a seperate text file.

A neat idea but the manual should have been in-game. Once I read the game page and checked the manual, I was able to do everything except Fuel (which I tried about four or five times with different interpretations of what was written, but none of them seemed to be right)

There is some potential in this one.

There is a good amount of variety in the individual repair steps, I liked this.  The leg stuff with the bars was pretty intuitive.

After the bar stuff, I got stuck. You couldn't just figure out stuff on your own. You need the manual, which I hopefully found. This info should definitely be included in the game. But it kinda got it own charm, like the in Metal Gear Solid, where the code is at the back of the CD. But this still needs some sort of hint IMO.

More player feedback would also be better whenever a green light lit, maybe a success ping sound. Also when the repair is done. Could have been a glow on the helmet or something. I assume this is due to no time left and all.

I really like the concept, and I had fun trying to figure everything out with the manual. My biggest gripe is that there’s no payoff at the end. I completed all objectives and nothing happened :(

Thank you for playing our game! Sorry for the letdown at the end, so I'll give you my congratulations here ;)

Cool idea I could see this concept being expanded upon with more mechs. For a game jam though I think you should idiot-proof it a little more. Just say in the game itself to look at the .txt file cuz I missed that for a few mins lol.
