How does your game fit the theme?
This game is about claiming more territory than your opponent. Your truck creates a trail of fire behind it, and creating a loop with your fire trail claims all territory inside the loop. Drive into your opponents loop to disrupt them or loop around their territory to take it back!

14 minutes before rating stops! Gotta go fast

Very cool idea and a great thing to have local multiplayer for this kind of game, although I didn't have time to find somebody to play with I had to play against the CPU.

The driving was hectic and wild, which I guess is too be expected. I was able to win vs the AI in my first try, partially because it driven into the wall a couple of times :D. I was a little bit bummed out by the loop not finishing and claiming territory when using the ramp :(. I believe the game could use more polish and actually be a great party game (unless there is something like that already and I am just not aware of it). I can see playing this in couch versus mode with some pizza and snacks.

2D artwork is really cool, the sfx is working for the game, although I would like it a little bit louder and wilder!

In general solid entry.

This is really fun, reminded me of graffiti in THPS. Bonus points for being able to drift too. Really impressed with how much game is in here for something done in 96 hours. Nice one! Would absolutely play a full realised version of this with friends. 4 player local would be a blast!

Very cool game with neat UI and transitions. I liked the take on the theme and adding local multiplayer to a jam game is very awesome!

Good sound and I enjoyed it a lot! Good work!

Such a cool idea: Splatoon with loops (actually, reminds me of Crash Bash and some minigames there as well) :D I especially like how you can engage the boost to catch your trail before it extinguishes, giving you a larger loop. Not sure if I've missed it, but I think the game would benefit from some upgrades or some objects that could affect your gameplay. For instance, circle a barrel and it explodes, launching drops of your color across the level, etc.

The enemy CPU completely gave up in my match, basically just chilling in the corner. :D

All in all: great idea with great potential for a fun couch game. Well done!

Very cool game, the car controls are really tight and feel great, the loops are satisfying to make, and I can imagine this is a ton of fun in Multiplayer. In Singleplayer, it's pretty fine, mostly because the CPU barely knows how to play the game and breaks frequently, but it's still a bit of fun nonetheless.

Very cool! I think the multiplayer version has lots of real potential. Sort of like deathtrack meets that game where you split up paper into squares of color and try to get as many as possible. You know the one. Anyway, awesome work! :D

Cute spin on the paper io type of game. I love the fact that you integrated it with an ai and also local coop, thats very cool. I also feel like the maps could be more polished, but that could be in a future update :D

Overall great little game to have fun with friends.

Really creative mix of Tron and Splatoon, it's impressive that you even managed to get the whole input setup screen working in a Jam period along with all the powerups. Feels like a very polished entry, Nice job!

This is an awesome idea! Some notes:
- Would feel better if your trail didn't go out by itself; it could increase the risk/reward factor of making long trails.
- Game felt quite laggy at times, but that's probably just my laptop.
- CPU opponents feel a little janky, but I understand that's one of the hardest things to get right during a jam :P

The AI is definitely too easy, but this is a neat idea you have here. I liked being able to drive through the other cars trail to break it before they can complete it, makes it have more of a strategy to it. I do think it's a bit too easy to reclaim territory from the opponent, maybe try having the ground play a bigger part once it's been claimed? Like, you drive slower on enemy color or something?

I nearly thought the game was broken as on my first match as I didn’t properly understand that I needed to select keyboard/mouse as my P1 input type (the UI kind of suggested to me that it was already set). Also the CPUs were not at all intelligent lol (though the fact that you have CPUs in a jam game is impressive on its own).

Other than that, I really liked the concept! Turning the classic game of Dots and Boxes into a high-octane multiplayer toy car racing game is quite neat! I can definitely see this game being incredibly fun and chaotic to play with a group of friends. It’s just too bad I don’t have any friends locally to play with :(

The game concept is very fun, it reminds me a bit of the classic pen-and-paper game Dots and Boxes (since you have to claim area by closing loops).

I wish singleplayer mode was a bit more challenging, since I beat the computer pretty easily on both the regular and hazards maps without much difficulty. It would also be nice to also accept left/right controls instead of A/D as input for singleplayer.

The player and CPU movement mechanics are very smooth and impressive for a game jam, good job on implementing them!
