I like the concept! But I don't like how tired my arm gets after just half a session haha.
My suggestions for fixing that part might go against the mayhem philosophy you had, but to spare the players hands it would be nice if you didn't have to spam while keeping it hectic.
What if instead of spamming the buttons, they functioned as toggles, that you have to time optimally for maximum production. You already have indicators for the combiners as they fill up, so what if you had more of them that you toggled between, that fill at different rates, so you got to keep track of the more combiners you add, swapping between them as they fill up. That would also make the upgrades for faster autogeneration something that does something, since now it barely has any impact.
Great music, and nice Slap-in-your-face UI!
I originally posted this on itch website instead of here. So reposting it, with some changes.
Hello! From the start I can say that this isn't game for me. I am not big on button smashing, never was. Just want to leave feedback, as someone who this game isn't for if that's ok?
Don't likes:
1. Type of UI isn't my jam, everything moving etc. was a bit to much for me. Although colours where properly combined for readability.
2. The animation for factory connectors weren't looped properly, you can see when it stops and start. Also on green o yellow you can't see this effect.
3. Mess from previous round is affecting only first slime, most of the time it was the slime that was feeling my goal and then I was just smashing to get gold and leave mess for next round.
4. After around 15th round I had 2 factories that I was using and rest turned off. Was missing some options to sell/change build.
5. I was confused at the beginning if slime size affecting gold and goal. I think it does but idk by how much, could use some feedback.
6. When I clicked start with my mouse and then moved hand to QWE to start smashing button I usually lost a sec. Could use some grace period until first button clicked or first slime moved out of "factory zone".
7. On snake map at last round either I didn't finish the goal and won or I did finish just progress bar didn't update.
8. Smashing buttons is very tiring and probably damaging for keyboard - and like I said, not my type of game.
Likes:
1. Overall gameplay can be fun
2. UI was readable despite my resentment
3. Music is great
4. Upgrade system is good direction
5. Factory system with ability to turn off specific one is good
6. Different slimes and their specialities
Overall I was able to finish it and had some fun moment, but if I wouldn't watch it on stream first I would be probably be lost a bit.

I'm a fan of bees >:(
well you must remember what the bees did to deserve this: absolutely nothin we just want honey
Those are indeed some mean bees. Also I'm not sure how deep the lore goes, they seem to be mind controlled. Maybe Slime, Inc. 2 has the slimes break the bees free and they work together.
This was an interesting game. I struggled trying to determine what I was supposed to do. The first two times I played it when I tried to add an upgrade I wasn't clicking on the far left part, so I thought the buttons were broken. There's no obvious button, the whole thing looks like a button. I would make the entire object clickable, or make one part look like a button. I was finally able to upgrade and add yellow slime, however, even when I pressed the "E" key, nothing happened. My guess was that I needed to upgrade more things, but eventually as more and more bees come you have less time before the game ends. It feels like this game is one where if you know what you're doing, it can easily be finished. But if you don't then you struggle and quit. I'm not sure you need a tutorial as much as just a brief overview of what the purpose is. Like "steal the honey from the bees before they stop you and use upgrades to help you" if that is what you're doing. Something.
Anyway, art all fit together. The sounds were OK. The look of the UI fit the game. I really think this game would be more fun if I knew what I was trying to do.
Thanks!

Just watched Zack's stream and bumped my score a bit. I'm gonna play it again later now that I know how to play. If you can just figure out a way to make the same easier to understand it looks like it's fun!
Although my fingers were tired at the end, once I understand that you had to build one type of factory to generate resources and another one to turn the resources into slimes, it all started clicking.
Loved the energy of it though, well done! Could probably use a better tutorial, and there's also a bug where you can open two of the upgrade menus at once, but nothing game breaking. Also didn't understand why I lost the game :P
Good game guys. Sorry I couldn't help on it, probably would have ended up worse if I worked on it though
Lol no Bomo! Our team talked many times about how we wish you could have contributed. If we have you on our team again in the future, we'll make sure to pick a version of Unity that runs on your computer, lol! Thank you for playing
Well that was something! Every single object, UI element, etc. is just so much in your face I can only guess your goal was to intentionally dial the screech to 110% :D
I agree with tagr that it isn't very transparent what is going on gameplay-wise. It would help to make important stuff stand out and everything else be less obtrusive colorwise. But I suppose that would stand in the way of going all in with your art style.
For sure! Our guiding light was "Mayhem", and so if that's the feeling you felt in the player seat, we are proud!
Most of the time I was playing this I didn't have any idea what I was doing, or why I was doing it. This was like a weird fever dream.
But as I kept maniacally mashing the Q key I stopped caring that most of the unlocks I had bought didn't seem to work. I was just having fun.
I can't explain it. Thanks for this experience.
good we really wanted to optimize mayhem and making the gameplay a mess of just mashing q w and e until you win. we are glad you enjoyed our game
