I really liked this game! It is my first time actually playing something like it and I think it could be further developed. The only thing I would change is the manual to be displayed in game but anyways, Well Done!

couldn't play the game in browser :( it doesnt let me interact at current size, i love ktane so im sure this is very fun

Developer

Sorry about that :( The web build was last minute so not thoroughly tested - the downloadable build should be more stable?

will check it out, thank u for the reply!

Really amazing idea! I love the weird kind of troubleshooting games like KTaNE. I love that you made an entire manual. I did find an error. It said to subtract the higher number from the lower one, but that would result in a negative number. It should be the other way around!

Anyway, this is really fun and I'd like to play a full version if you ever expand it.

Developer

Ah, good spot! Thank you for playing (and reading)

You're welcome! Your game is really good!

By the way, it would be really cool if you can also rate my game! :)

cool idea! relaxing vibes

impossible to play as the browser mode is incorrect resoultioon and the download is full-screen only.

Sorry to hear that :(

I couldn’t get a dynamic resolution to work so had to keep it fixed, which causes problems on displays with different resolutions.

I actually love the concept of having a PDF alongside the core game - I felt the game wore it's inspirations on its sleeve.

Great jam game!

Thank you so much! Probably should have spent a bit more time coding rather that writing flavour text, but the latter is a lot less frustrating I will admit!

Okay after you power through how much info the manual has at first it really kicks off! I really love this concept!! Great job :D

Developer

Thanks! Just seen your game on tim's stream so about to check it out :)

I've never played Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes myself, but I have seen gameplay of it and this definitely feels similar to it. As others have said, it would definitely be nice if the difficulty slowly ramped up over time, as the manual is really confusing at first, but at the same time it's also part of the fun and chaos behind it, so if you do do this please try not to lose that aspect. Overall it was lots of fun, thanks for making it and best of luck in the jam!

Wasn't expecting an entry quite like this, it was super fun getting a friend to help me out fix the vinyl!

Thank you for being such entertaining play-testers!

We also drew a lot of inspiration on keep talking!
The manual looks amazing, and the game too! I love the concept of fixing old record players.
I couldnt fix one yet 😅 maybe the time could be a little longer, or introduce the mechanics little by little, in a full release. But i do want to try again so more (maybe with someone reading the manual for me lol)

Developer(+1)

Yes the manual be a bit much at first! It’s been really interesting to see the difference in playstyle between solo and co-op play.

Very creative game, but it would be much better if the manual was included with the game, not having to open the pdf. Other than that it was great and it looks good aswell. Good job!
