The basic concept reminds me of Excitebike, but without the ramps (and a Neon aesthetic). When it starts going fast it gets really fast!

Enjoyed going fast af and the art and songs work great with the game! Quick idea: make the song go faster as you gain speed.

This game looks and sounds awesome! The only issue is trying to see small objects at such high speeds. Despite that, traveling at ludicrous speed is really fun!

If you know how physics work then you would know that if a car moved that fast the air particles in front of it wouldn't be able to get out of the way fast enough and a vacuum would form behind the car. Nuclear fission would begin happening on the air in front and just as the vacuum behind was being filled with air again a HUGE explosion would devastate the area around for 1.5 miles.
BUT since it's a videa game and not real life all it did was feel TERRIFIC to go so fast!! GREAT game! And great work! You executed this very well! Good luck to you!

Card speed accelerates to quickly, it took two arrows to get into light speed. Game felt very good though, reminded me of pod racings from kotor.
Thanks for the feedback. The car speed was one of those things where I saw it and thought it was funny but in hindsight as a game mechanic should have made a speed limit. Glad you enjoyed it and that was actually the exact inspiration (:

The game’s art and sound design are phenomenal—I love cruising through neon-drenched streets synced to the soundtrack! But at top speed on the second lap, the overwhelming velocity made the background visuals slightly dizzying.

Not a major issue at all! Whenever the visuals get blurry, I deliberately slow down—and honestly, that’s become part of the fun for me.
There's something very aesthetically appealing on having the gameplay area cover so little of the screen space. Really cool visuals too, felt really retro somehow!

i think it would have benefited to have more screen space dedicated to the road to make it easier to see the boosts, but I enjoyed it overall

lol yeah I was going to set a speed limit but I thought it was kinda funny how fast it went and to get like 28 seconds lap 1 and 8 seconds lap 2. I really enjoyed yours, I'll go rate and comment over there

I honestly think even sometimes the game couldn't keep up and would skip some slowdowns. Although it was hard to tell what lane they were in. lol
