Nice take on domino balatro/roguelike, also very polished and tactile!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, great minds think alike when it comes to our games!

Simple concept but a nice style and satisfying to make loops. Feels kind of like Tetris when you clear multiple rows.

The bouncy momentum effect of the dominos annoyed me - it made it hard for me to place dominos precisely and they bounced a lot even when I just made a tiny mouse movement.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, the original plan was to make it more like tetris but I made it more loopy to fit more closely match the theme

This is a great spin on the Balatro idea! So much scope for building out this idea with special domino blocks, special tiles that trigger on placement, so much possibility. More choices of 1-of-3 things!

We created a deckbuilder, because we love choosing 1 of 3. Would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try!

Developer

Thanks! Certainly has room to expand, I have plenty of ideas already

Holy smokes! This is definitely the most polished game I've seen from the jam. Great job, I had a ton of fun!

Developer

Thank you, that's very kind of you to say

Gret balatro like game, love it!

Developer

Thank you very much!

Yeah balatro but dominos - you did your thing with this one well done!!!

Developer

Thank you, it's certainly a good source of inspiration for these types of games

Easy and super fun to play! Getting large combos feels great too.

Developer

❤️ It's so satisying when it happens!

It's probably the most polished game I played in the jam. I love the mechanic and the Balatro vibe (UI). Amazing job! no doubt this is in my top

Developer

That's very high praise, thank you so much. I'm glad to hear you like it so much

This game feels great to play. It was so easy with only 2 sized pieces, the L shaped ones usually mess my field too much. The only thing I’d change is how the mousewheel works. I usually use my index for both click and scroll, I’d suggest adding keybindings to rotate and allow to rotate pieces before grabbing them.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback, I definitely want to look at improving controls post jam, like you say just adding in some other key bind options

I love how polished this feels and the actual systems themselves are very in depth. Very cool!

Developer

Thank you so much ❤️

Felt hard to learn how it worked, and then it felt hard to do any actual strategizing to rack up points. Very narrow and unforgiving RNG at times. Very well put-together nonetheless.

Music gave me a blast from the past, also- only now do I learn it was the Royalty in Royalty Free himself, Kevin MacLeod. Holy hell. Thank you for that.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, glad the music proved nostalgic! Yeah I still haven't got many strategies myself yet
