How does your game fit the theme?
Our game incorporates the theme on multiple layers; through the physical looping of cassette tapes, the puzzle loop present within the gameplay, and accompanying looping audio, as well as the broader narrative loop of exploring LGBTQ+ relationships across time; particularly the archiving of memories and lived experiences through different mediums (from cassette tapes to texts messages!)
(Optional) Please credit all assets you've used
Our game features entirely original assets including all music, SFX and art, except for the following: Atkinson Hyperlegible (font) and text message type box (Canva)

Adored this concept and the art and the music - wish I could have progressed passed tape 5 but ya'll should be proud of how lovely and smooth the experience was regardless! It's hard to achieve such beauty in the short time of a jame so ya'll did great 💗
A cute game with simple puzzles and a calming atmosphere. Well done for not abandoning it - despite the bugs, you still manage to draw players into your story providing materials on the game page!
really like artwork and audio it fit well.
If possible, can you please vote my game and leave a comment too?
love the aesthetic and the music is wonderful. i was impatient and silly and did not realize the first tape had begun to play, I thought it was part of the bg music, so I kept clicking the tape trying to turn it on until i realized xD
Absolutely beautiful game. I couldn't beat level 5 but I checked out the track on your website, and I loved the LGBTQ+ theming here. I couldn't have made it any better, for sure!
Hi! I liked the tape 2 recording :)
Unfortunatelly I was not able to do tape 5, I was not able to place the pieces together for some reason, also in puzzle 1 I didnt hear any recording, I was also wondering what to do but I just waited and then it brought me back to the menu screen.
Also the sound settings doesnt work, I broke the sound the first time I played x
Hi, thanks so much for playing! The level 1 tape is the piece of music (with piano and cello) that plays after completing the puzzle, unfortunately the game is missing some assets like tape labels which make it easier to understand what each tape is - apologies for the confusion! We are aware of a few bugs in the current build that make it difficult to progress past Level 5 and hear the 5th tape play. To provide context for the currently inaccessible components, we have uploaded the missing assets on the game's main page (https://mvs-music.itch.io/repair-and-rewind) and music on my website (https://www.mvs-music.com/videogamemusic/repair-rewind). And yes the settings menu doesn't work...yet! Hope that helps!
Once I successfully repair the first tape and the walkman pops up on the screen, it doesn't seem to play the memory of the aunt. I tried clicking every where but i'm not sure. the music track that plays while repair the tape though is gorgeous.
Hi, thanks so much for playing! Once you complete each level the memories that are revealed are the audio tracks that play when the Walkman pops up - if you let it play out it will take you to the next puzzle :) Unfortunately the assets we made of the tapes with labels about what was on them didn't make it in to the final build, but they should be on the game page under screenshots! Hope that helps and thank you for you kind words about my music :)
Music is stunning, it is something I could listen on daily basis. I am amazed it is original assets.
I'm not a big fan of puzzle games but I can see just how much time and effort went into this, and it's hard not to appreciate a game that was made with so much care!
Wow, this is incredible (game jam or not)! Art work and audio is perfection.
I have repaired but (it's probably just my fault) I can't figure out how to rewind.
