I won, but I'm not sure I feel good about it! The gameplay was very fun and the sound and writing were also top notch. If I were to give a critique, I think the movement could be tightened up a little, and the game started in a first person for me, which made me feel incredibly close to the ground compared to the third person.

Game play reminds me of haste but horror, which is super cool! Overall love the vibes!
I know the vibe is supposed to be creepy, but the act of running like a madman in an apron is absolutely hilarious. Great feeling.
Game felt great to move around and the speed was really nice! I fell out of the map once but it was still cool lmao.
Having to maintain your speed with the darkness always creeping into view really set the tone. If you continue to work on it, seeing more types of obstacles would be really cool too. Great work!
Loved the mood of the game from the beginning. Some constructive feedback first:
The initial scene when it is just pitch black with the dragging sound effects is a cool opener, but maybe it dragged on for a bit too long, I found myself thinking "Is it not working?" and "Ok cool I get it lets get to it!". Second is just the typing green text that shows up, maybe speeding that up as well a bit, I know you can skip it but I think it would feel better if the typing speed was faster.
Overall, simple concept but really enjoyed it once I understood the goal, kinda funny looking at your character in the sort of hospital gown attire running like a mad man to not pass out xD as I wooshed through the environment at high speeds all I kept thinking is 'I'M FAST AS *** BOIII" while chuckling to myself all throughout.
Had fun with this one well done!
Such a great atmosphere. The lighting, the visuals, the audio... everything was done so well for the feeling.
The story isn't directly referenced, but it is really well written as far as I see. I experienced both as the subject and saw my own test log, which leaves a lot of my thoughts for the lore... I don't know if I missed something but if I did please tell me what I am missing from the lore! Thanks so much!
The gameplay itself feels really intuitive as well. As soon as I realized my vision was dimming upon hitting trees, I knew I have to run. fast. Probably a bit more mechanics can be spent on gameplay, but the current mechanic is really well polished and easy to understand!
Great job!
Wow thank you so much!
The original idea was a little different for sure... We weren't sure who exactly was running the experiments, but when we were discussing adding speed pick-ups, we figured they could be an energy drink/drug and the people running the experiments were the manufacturers testing said drink/drug.
As far as gameplay goes, we did have plans to do platforming but I pretty much slammed that level together in one night xD And we just didn't have the time to add powerups, but we really wanted to!
Again thank you so much for the feedback!
SO FASTTT i love running that fast. I like the overall lighting and atmosphere, wish there was more lure explanation though! Extra points on the sound as well, fits the vibe~
Love the atmosphere! The environmental design was quite well done and the narrative can easily be expanded into something more. I wish the core gameplay had more to it though.
Awesome game, bro! The third-person camera switch scared the hell out of me!
This is what it feels like walking home late at night when you miss the bus
