Pretty fun, tho really hard, just because you get out of power really fast, and you never know where the other battery is at (they look like they're a part of the background). But I liked the idea, I thought it was cute, definitely different than most of the games that just default to "enemy and shooting". Well Done!
Fun game! Reminded me a bit of the game loop in an old flash game called motherload, where you try to gather as many resources as you can before dying. It was an interesting challenge, definitely had to be a bit strategic.
I noticed some enemies spawned particles, are they meant to damage you? I never ended up dying and didn't see any health indicators so was a bit confused.
Nevertheless, a good job and a good submission ^^
The Power you have also doubles as your health, but we didn't quite nail the enemy damage on this release ^^'
I'm glad you enjoyed the game tho! Thanks for the kind words
I enjoyed playing! Getting upgrades and gradually expanding my range was very satisfying. I wish that enemies did more damage, since I felt like they were not dangerous enough
I'll make sure to buff their damage in an upcoming update then ;)
Glad you had fun and thanks for playing!
Really nicely done and brutally difficult! I found I had to grind the flies (what a sentence) near the starting pad for a while before I had enough charge/speed to venture out further so maybe a bit more energy to start could help. Other than that, I had a lot of fun with this one!
Thank you for playing our game. We plan to adjust the balancing in the future, time during the jam was really limited to playtest everything.
Surprisingly brutal haha. The uncertainty of the charge stations forces a bit of a grind in the beginning. I felt like I couldn't get comfortable progressing past the first or second room until I invested over 1200 dust in battery upgrades. And even then I died trying to explore a comically large bedroom haha. Definitely fun but I would've enjoyed more freedom to SUCK worry free ha.
thanks for the feedback, we will update the game as soon as we have time ^^
Great job congrats!
This is probably my favorite game this jam, nice job!
Cool game. Enjoyed a lot.
