Yes - I'm new to game jams!
How does your game fit the theme?
I started a few days late due to irl priorities, so I decided to base my game around that. You play as an alarm clock who has to get started with day by waking up extremely late, as you have to rush through the level to wake up your client, like me with how I rushed this game lol.

Really good concept for the game. I liked playing through the level and trying to get faster times. Also Etty is very cute!
Its got good bones. Movement feels great. With some more work this can be a solid game.

Etty's design is really adorable, and I appreciate the sentiment of taking care of yourself before external considerations. Self-destruction is not the wellspring of creation.

It's a neat idea, and it looks good and controls fairly well. However, I just wish there was a bit more in the term of things like sfx and animations for the player, although I understand that time was probably a factor. Nice job on your first jam!
Thanks! I agree that the lack of sfx and animations held it back, since I was prioritizing the controls and gameplay rather than visuals. I was planning to do hand-drawn animations for it given the style, but time was not friendly lol, hence the bare-bones look. Regardless thanks for understanding my constraints I had lol ( ^o^ '')
Hehe thanks! Glad you like the character, and I do agree that the controls are a little floaty. My first solution was just adding more gravity when releasing the button early for small and precise jumps, while leaving a bit of floatiness for larger jumps. But I do agree that there are some improvements to be made, as I'm not fully satisfied with it either lol. Regardless, tank u for the support!
this was quite fun to play, i like the visuals and its impressive as you started the game jam late. great work!
