Nice game. It feels like a pretty original idea. I like that it simulates a desktop environment to the point where you can reposition applications. Resource managment like this can be pretty fun and engaging. I can also see that you put some effort into the tutorial to make sure that nobody gets stuck early on. Some cons: I feel like the item icons are too small. You put effort into drawing them all instead of going with something more generic and it is a shame that they're barely visible unless I hover over them.
While it is cute that opening applications requires a double-click I don't think it is necessary to also have the player double click to open minimized tabs or double click the check mark to craft.
I don't think bold text with this font reads that easily.
I like the new tutorial, it drops you in nicely. I have played before, but it feels better
Everything just works great. I have no notes to take.
Weird glitch in the shop, I could press sell and the shop keep ran out of cash, but I didn’t sell more then once
Post Game Thoughts:
I can see why this is 9 days from release! There is a fun game loop, and everything works and feels nice. I put an easy hour into it, and could definitely put a lot more. Only suggestion is maybe to make dungeon raids a bit more noticeable? Like warn when players get low, even if they aren’t in danger, or if they encounter a new monster type or something.
Anyways, it’s still super cool and fun, good luck on release!
Maybe I did things wrong, but I think the new lighter tutorial has too much time spent between the new information and options flowing in. Maybe because these real-time management games have cultivated a "panic if you are not doing anything" feeling in me. If you gonna go that way, I suggest to let the player have a full shift of heroes so he can keep sending them out while he waits for further options to pop up. Not the two workhorses, and the one guy who gets to slack off at night because you are afraid to send a guy alone in a dungeon.
Recorded some gameplay right after finishing tutorial. Gameplay itself starts at 2:00, before then I'm trying to change resolution, but weird stuff is happening.
Most of it is me fumbling through raiding and windows, but by the end I'm starting to get it. But when I explored all 4 dungeons by the end, I didn't' know what to do, because I couldn't raid anymore. I assume I needed to complete the project to discover new dungeons. But I couldn't complete it because I didn't have work bench? I wasn't sure what to do at that point and stopped playing. Was there a solution or did I lock myself out?
I'm gonna play it more later, now that I understand the game better and see how it goes.
Some thoughts: >The aesthetic is really nice and it's eye catching even in screenshots. >Settings menu could have a big APPLY button instead of small 'back'. >This game needs pausing with spacebar. It's only natural for this type of game. There are keyboard shortcuts already anyway. >Health vials look like empty vials. I think there's some greenish luquid inside but icons are too small to make it discernable and it blends with menu background too often. >There could be a "clear desktop" button or something to mass close the windows. >You can click 'Hire' during gameplay and there's feathers particle effect even when advisor is not sitting there.
Dungeons reset daily, but you should be able to do 6 on the first day as having a tattered map allows you to complete another. I'll add hotkeys for pausing and clearing as that would help for QoL. Thanks!
On the raid statistics popup, you can see the items you've gotten this raid but I'm going to add that to the sidebar too to just make it much easier to see. Thanks!
This game is awesome, I really enjoyed it despite being completely new to management games. UI feels really good to use and look at and the mechanics are intuitive to me. Love the tutorial explanations regardless. No complains about the game itself, but it does look rough at 1.5x scale which is the setting I was on, and you can't back out of drag and dropping with right click which is what I usually do in Windows. Great game, I'd pick up the full version.

I wish the UI was 3x bigger. The slots and icons are so small. I kinda want a maximize on a windows to do 1 thing at a time.
Hey man, played your game.

This is actually quite good, I'm not a fan of management game, but this kinda hooked me. Very well polished.
One thing tho, there should be a place that has a list of recent items received from raids, so I don't have to double-check the inventory every time.

Thanks! I'll add the right clicking functionality in the next patch.
