Love the idea and the death animation was really funny (though the enemy sometimes went the wrong way and chomped air). Controls are ok, but it feels like the collision detection is either very harsh or a bit "random".
This is a good entry! I love the pixel art and how you start the game going up the flag.

Really liked your concept—riding up the flagpole on the way in instead of riding down on the way out? Perfect! I think the animations were great, too, but it some cases they wouldn't line up perfectly and I was getting chomped with the enemy maybe 30 pixels away from where it hit me. More generous clearance for making jumps and tighter enemy colliders would really help take your game to the next level. Thanks for making and sharing it!
Thanks!! Yeah we ran a little short on time to get the enemy kill animations to snap to the right place...really finicky for some reason. gonna play yours sometime tonight.. the artwork looks very impressive!
i wish there was a white glove on one hand and he went hee hee from time to time, but it was fun. I liked it

Nice game, but there are some glitches like sometimes I click but the player doesn't shoot. But it's a good game in general keep going!

Really cool take on the theme! I like the shoot mechanics it's a lot of fun to super jump by shooting at the ground and jumping off it. I think adding coyote time to the jumps would make the tighter jumps a lot easier to pull off which would be nice. Overally really solid entry, great work!

Fun game, the character movement is a little clunky but the main mechanic of shooting is very fun to play around with. I also like how bullets push the bullet as well, meaning it can push you into enemies but also let you bounce off them to gain height. For character movement just add coyote jump and it should feel much better.
