I played like 15h so far, and I can truly say I loved everything. The music is great, the art style, the pictures, the story telling, the jokes everything. Keep up the good work and can't wait for what is to come!
I SPECIFICALLY MADE AN ACCOUNT TO ASK THIS, but Spedumon, would you please, very kindly, consider lettin' us get a sequel encounter with the Hot Stag? That dude, is DESPERATE for some action. My absolute favorite encounter was watchin' hiiiiim, and just wishing we could ambush him from behind while he's so....distracted!
I didn't know where to put this so I'll put it in the feedback section, I found the game a week ago and I thought it was great, the music, the designs, the story everything in general I even plan to subscribe to patreon, I recommended the game to a friend since it is very good, but he does not have a PC and I understand that the mobile version is only for Patreons but he found it on a page called Kemono, supposedly uploaded by the artist (you) but I doubt it, maybe it seems that I am a gossip but I do not approve of piracy when it affects indie developers, it is only to inform, I hope it helps
There is no official mobile version of the game, not even on Patreon. Spedu considered making one at some point, but he decided against it, since it's very easy to play the game as it is on android via Joiplay https://itch.io/t/1278376/how-to-play-on-android So yeah, not sure what your friend supposedly found on Kemono (which yeah, is a piracy website that Spedu most def. doesn't upload to himself), but it couldn't be a mobile version.
Sorry I'm learning English but I still have some writing and logical errors in the sentences, what I was referring to is that my friend found the most recent version (0.56) for mobile, I don't know if he used an emulator or something since I asked him to delete it but I think the idea is clear, basically they distribute the Patreon version for free 馃檨
In my opinion (which no one asked for xd) Lace and the MC look like they have the potential for a relationship, they give me vibes that they can be a little more than friends sex, due to the direction and theme of the game I doubt it but maybe there is a possibility to choose something like that in the future? You know the typical routes in games where your decisions affect the end of the story, oh and Wulfrick is the mascot of the relationship xd I know that many would not like that since they prefer big buff bottoms and Lace don't count as one but it's cute please tell me i'm not crazy
Hey I just wanted to say that the quest coins are too grindy. The progression from bronze to gold is fine I think, but from gold to platinum is extremely grindy. Lets say I want to get to platinum badge, I would have to do the hardest 3 missions in a row constantly because they pay the highest relevant to time spent. With Vulfoxes recommendation, those 3 pay 45 QC in total together. Which means to get to platinum I would have to do them 22 times in a row + 1 single mission just to reach 1000, those 3 together take about 15-25 minutes because of travel time and combat rng. Not to mention if I want the highest tier books or other items I would need to grind beyond that. The 2 star missions take too much time to do and the 1 star missions are rly fast but pay only 6 QC (would need to do them 166+ times in a row)in total making the 3 star missions the best ones to do. Mixing quests also takes too much time as it doesnt create a consistant route to do them and the travel time doesnt make up for it.
I think the jump from gold to plat is too grindy. I suggest making 1 and 2 star missions pay more, silver and gold badge costing more, Vulfoxes recommendation double the QC gained from quests instead and make the items cost more (so that they arent too easy to get with recommendation). This way you can get way more QC, making the badges less grindy but getting both items and badges would require higher grind, the more items you want. Unless there is some kind of event that will require getting a platinum badge with a 1 time quest where you get a massive amount of QC, then its less of an issue but still an issue imo.
Hi! I have already written a feedback on how I liked the game, so this feedback will be on things I would have liked to be added.
To have fullscreen, I want to use RTX HDR, but I need the game on full screen option.
When Lace use skill "potion making" it would be nice if one could use it before ones turn, not to advantage but I keep forgetting who I choosed and what I was supposed to use, so I tend to pick wrong. Now I know I could increase speed, but Lace is already 20, and any higher and the other stats will drop. If this is not an option, than maybe add a small text bar that says who you were choosing?
I appreciate the game and am as always excited to see what happens next.
Just wanna say you're doing great. Please keep it up. The grammar fixes, the combat improvements, the dungeons, the story. I want to keep seeing this game improve, and become more. I love it. The characters feel great, love their interactions, even if wulfrick can be a tiny bit cringe at times, he's so cute and hot I can't help but love him. That and the moments where he has a genuinely smart thing to say makes him seem more like Ed from Ed Edd and Eddy. Seemingly dull witted and preoccupied, but then inspired in a blink and you'll miss it way. Not sure if that's what you were going for, but that certainly is how it comes across, and I love it. To say nothing of the way you're addressing so many things in the world, like the strange difference in tops to bottoms.
Overall, just love how you're making the story go so far, with the demonic backstory and so on. I really want to see it continue and intrigue me. Grove, to compare one M/M game to another, has a simialrly gripping setting, very intriguing. I feel it almost drops the ball with the 'an ancient advanced civlization was here before' twist, but with your storyline, it being demons, and the Maneland being very advanced technologically, but a lot of that just not catching on, it has a very Roman Empire vibe to it, and I love that approach. The way the party gets stronger, and it's noticed by characters and plot points, it's so great~ I'm gonna keep playing till I get to Platinum rank now, because...well honestly, because I don't feel too well, and I'm not being asked to move boxes, so it's something I can legitimately spend my time on and.. yeah, I want to spend my time on it...Sorry for rambling. Have a great day, God bless you~
One of my favorite furry games on this platform, I am so exited to see what the next big update in november will bring, I am also super exited about any future party member, considering that both of the gods dungeons give you 2 full sets of armor for 2 specific characters and that there seems to be 2 more of those dungeons to go then if that pattern keeps up then it means 4 sets of armor for 4 new party members and I really wanna see who they will be. Also a bit of a suggestion, what if you made sprites for the characters while they are wearing certain armors just like what you did with the speedo sprite for adventurer maybe even make it carry over to the character profiles on the pause menu.
I really like the art/pixel-art and animation so far. Progression is also very good. One thing I don't like is monsters in dungeon appear ways more frequent and it's becoming repetitive(considering I have to do it 2 more times for the scenes).
Even though the character progression seems good so far, it's become stale later in the story. Do you plan on creating a new way for character to progress? One thing I had in mind, maybe each character has their own passive skill tree.
Like, for Adventurer. There might be a specific passive for Axe, Sword, Dagger or even survivability. Making building each character way more fun 馃檪
Funny enough, what you suggested is already in the Patreon version of the game. Once you join the quest guild and unlock the gold badge, you get access to a room where each character can get passive skills called "buffs". Each 10 levels a char can pick a new one out of a set of three buffs (aka at level 10, 20, 30 etc), and you can change them at any time. There are buffs that boost your damage, yes, but also ones that half your enemy encounters in dungeons, since Speedu saw that people are struggling with that.
Hi there! First off, I just want to say how much I enjoy playing Small On Top. The creativity and fun it brings are truly amazing! I was wondering if there are any plans to introduce 4K resolution support in the future? It would be fantastic to experience the game in such high quality. Thank you for all your hard work, and I鈥檓 excited to see what鈥檚 next for the game!
Hi there! I just want to give some feedback on this fantastic game and I hope it can be helpful to your amazing work. First off, I played the March public version, so if anything has changed in the recent updates, please ignore any comments on that.
I want to say that, while this trope is usually not my cup of tea, I really like how you implemented the whole Small on Top dynamic and I absolutely love the art, the characters (even the extras!), the worldbuilding and the humor (I spent so much time making sure to check every item in the overworld for hidden gems). Also I just love that this can be actually called a game, if maybe on the easier side. And oh boy, Wulfrick is so precious (and hot ;-) ), I love him so much!
Now for the constructive criticism: I really loved the various hot action scenes but sometimes I felt a sense of d茅j脿-vu, especially when it comes to the descriptions of the bottom's well... bottom; also I think the scenes in the first part of the game were somewhat more unique. Lastly I noticed a few typos here and there. While they don鈥檛 take away from the overall quality of the game, I鈥檝e compiled a list of the ones I found, and I鈥檇 be happy to share it with you privately if you鈥檇 like check. I should mention that I鈥檓 not a native speaker, so there are some things that I鈥檓 not 100% sure about or that might be correct in context, I just thought it might be useful.
I'd also like to thank Daddy Hyperion for his thorough walkthrough, it was very helpful to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Thank you very much for your words of appreciation. I also beta-test each new update before release and inform Spedu of any typos I come across, but neither of us are native english speakers ourselves, so stuff's bound to slip past us. Since Spedu can't afford to pay any additional writers or helpers in general (I'm working entirely for free), he relies fully on fans helping out with bugs and typos. The easiest way would be to join Spedu's discord server and post screenshots of the typos you found. Not just the text boxes, the entire screen, so he can tell better where in the game said typo is.
The game is great, I love the mechanics and characters, but I found the lack of option to turn down some of the naughty scenes annoying, obviously they are in the game because it's just a game like that, but I think having the option to turn down some of them would be great, I don't have much else problem, I just don't particulary want to be forced into a scene with a character I don't find attractive or care for that much nor wanna have anything to do with, (+ when the senes are of not plot relevance)
That's about all of it, besides that I really like the art style and expressions, funny gags, the games made pretty good
