With this build im mostly trying to be at lvl 4 TEC advantage to make the most of it.

no problem! im glad to be invested in it. though i wish you gave a stronger identity to dark and earth elements since those seem to struggle a lot congruently. fire is also problematic when you consider the fact that almost a 3rd of the enemies are fire immune

honestly not a bad idea. but not entirely declining just being able to skip for the sake of replayability

There is also a bug, since I play on android I found it there idk if its on another platform. If you are in a dungeon, then zoom out and f.travel to another level, the names of monsters will bug out and stay in the backround. But I find that this is replicable consistantly when doing it semi fast.

This entire comment war can be summed up to: dont pay the man that has shit service and dont waste time on a man with shit service, that wont read about anons venting hate on itch. Legit wtf is the point of both of you writing anything here.

Hi, I just wanted to share a build that can unironically carry anyone through the game even when at coliseum fights with 2-3 levels of disadvantage. First look at what the skills of my build do to understand all the explanation bellow.


This is the build I figured out and yes I started with water as secondary and dont use glacial strike. The reason for that, is that you need to prioritize getting purple gems in this build to use both water and cold skills and glacial costs an AWFUL 13 YELLOW GEMS. Which means you will almost never get lucky at spawning ice gems+glacial afterwards and nuke. Also this game has a safeguard mechanic which means that additional damage on a singular healthbar that would go further then 0% is not continued into another healthbar, so in any fight that has multiple healthbars you will not use glacials potential in any way and you will waste extra damage. But at least in this build you can consistantly achieve many things at once, by proccing many random gems since you spawn a shit ton of bubbles and have good random chances to utilize any gem by accidentally proccing it, that can keep you alive. With this build fight in the early rounds ONLY to get purple gems until you can spawn your first set of bubbles and pray you can get to 9 after casting splash and frostbite. This build is soo overpowered that you can in decent amount of instances continually shuffle through gems and get all of your skills back up on the same turn with luck of bubbles to fill more then half of the gems with bubbles. So your priority is to get to purple gems, if not then use guard gems instead or block enemy gems but guard gems are the best option. 

Only when you have enough gray gems or ice gems, use cold weapon at max of 3 energy right at the start of a turn, in case frost weapon spawns a really good ice gem so you can accidentally continually spawn gems by hitting physical attacks. 

Lance you never use unless you know you will get purple gems in the same round so you can cast frostbite after or to clutch some bubbles when you have time. In this build its more important to cast the abilities then to actually connect anything outside of purple/guard/4 p-attacks.

Frost breath you NEVER use unless you can outright finish the fight by casting it. Also, it costs the same gem type as the other skills which is better then glacial in the sense that you dont need to jump between yellow and purple, it requires the same setup as glacial but it does slightly higher damage then glacial strike, so its more of an ability of convenient damage and good turn value. 

You just need to go learn when to start creating bubbles, when to use ice spells and plan how much energy you get for skills and every time you cast bubbles you need to get as many skills back up again and cast ice skills asap because they dont last long enough and can be popped easily as they spawn everywhere (yes they can also fuck up connecting gems which you need to remember, so each time you have bubbles on field, look how they will move).

So this way your yellows are useless and only serve to block the enemy off but this way you get to perpetually stack ice and bubbles while being unkillable. This is pure brainrot build. The only real downside is if you are extremely unlucky and cant cast bubble+ice by your fourth turn and lose your first hp bar, it gets much harder to use this build.

For the items, just get TEC(first priority) and STR stats from items, you can swap any of them if they provide a good defensive activation, like against poison which hurts this build the hardest.

But there is a core to this build, you NEED armor of ice on the FIRST armor slot. Reasons are that it has the highest hp, which means with guard it gets the highest ehp (effective hp, calculated full damage that can be tanked with damage reduction and max health). But the most important reason is that with this build as you prioritize purple, you can easily cast the 2 skills that cost 6 gems early which will instantly make you insanely tanky. By having ice shards, per shard you gain 10% of guard meter up, up to a max of 5 stacks at 50%. This allows you to run through mobs of monsters staying at full hp for a very long time before needing a heal. In a coliseum fight you can also stay at first hp bar for a very long time. So if you get to use green gems to keep the 1st armor alive then do so, the longer it lasts the better. 

The other 2 enchantments are optional, you can take what suits you, but I took clear mind to help myself survive till third health bar (since I dont cast frost breath until needed), so I can get as much rage as possible for the last hp bar in case a fight randomly goes really bad, which will gurantee that I close it out with extra turns or frost breath.

I hope this build helps anyone out.

Thank you for the response. Also, do you have a sense by what time the patreon version will be playable on android? Because Im very unlucky and my pc got infested with a trojan so I have to wipe my pc clean, I cant get the patreon version to play it 😭

I genuinely only found this game on accident, otherwise if it wasnt also shadow banned I wouldv played it a long time ago. A shame because its one of the most qualitative gay nsfw games of all. Im completely clueless on who the studio is and the history of this gem of a game.

So I have to ask Punipen, what is the actual end goal of the game? Once you complete the game, will there be a sequel/prequel to this story of Volga/related to Volga or the entire coliseum? Because most people are like me and would prefer a preexisting character or chronological continuation of a story and its fictional place after spending a long time getting to know it and getting somewhat attached to it by playing through it.

i dont have a clue either, hes jumping from 1 project to the next which makes me think probably for many years. because when you are jumping through different projects youre just caught between attention shifting through consistant updates that perpetuate this phase. i wish him the best regardless but i only like oihs from his writing and wont read anything he makes until he announces his return to it.

the worst thing that can happen to a content creator like him, is death of will to communicate with the community. at that point he will do whatever he randomly thinks of, that will drive anything good people sought out of his content and ruin himself. then he will think to himself that people arent really interested in his writing... well no, his writing is actually good, but only when its creative and unpredictable. w.e, he wont read this anyways, which is his problem. right after he announced that he will retreat from oihs, i instantly knew he fucked up. because when people do this i immediately assume they just wont continue or will continue but burnout and permanently stop the project.

Also another bug, after I got patreon version instead of the public one: using chips abilities can crash combat which will force a rollback or pressing ignore will consume his energy but he wont do anything, animation and damage wont exist at all

There is a bug with the new update because of the shop changes. I started a new playthrough and i cant get chip to be a part of combat. He wont join combat saying I need to buy the shooter system first, which I already did. I tried buying many things in random order, in random rooms of the ship and leaving Akra to try and debug this but it doesnt work. I cant use him in combat at all

There is a bug in the newest patreon version with the dino at the hotel lewd scene. 

If you enter the room he is in but keep holding the movement button up, the game will falsely register movement and break the cutscene, it wont trigger it and it will just freeze your movement due to cutscene coding in the room so you have to reset, in order to break the bug.


If you dont hold movement button up as you enter, this wont happen, but still i had to reset twice because i didnt know.

I wont lie, u did amazing changes on balance, the overall feel of the gameplay and combat alltogether. The last few updates and content are amazing.

Dont forget to take a break spedu from balancing and go on a spree of storytelling and depth, since you can hang on balance and game design prettymuch forever, especially the more skills and items you keep adding, you will perpetually exhaust yourself from working on the game.

Hey Spedumon, wasnt there a skill you added not too long ago for Fucko that did aoe dmg? After you grouped skills up after the update into tactical and damage I went to redo Vergoltung to see the visual fix you did and check the update out, I noticed in both of the categories the skill didnt show up in either, its completely gone. The ver. is the new one from patreon.

i dont know if this is considered a bug btw because of how vergoltung was coded with his armor and how his model is a backround, but with tempest rush the animation disregards his backround sprite only highlighting his armor. wouldnt really care if it was kept that way but spedu probably didnt have this in mind, thats why i wrote this in case he decides to change this 

i wish we had brewable items for in-combat buffs added, smth that would be used only in combat but would  buff the character for a few turns, like increased attack or crit chance/dmg

This is patreons newest version (0.74), eastern side of Paradino. So I went around the island and did everything, all dialogues possible and got all the cutscenes, chests and the kitchen knife, then went to check this place last before going to the dungeon and triggering the storyline cutscene with Runt. Thats where I found him staring at me... menacingly. I didnt check if the model was still there after beating him but I assume it isnt because it should be in the building after that, which is why it appeared outside of the wall as a probable temporary placeholder after the mine quest or smth idk.

And yes I talked to pink drake and everyone upstairs afterwards but didnt get it.

Found 2 bugs. 

1: After completing pink dragon quest, I didnt get pin of acceptance and Im clueless as to why.


2: He looks like hes gonna murder me through the wall. Send help.

I actually have a question about the turquoise slime, I started replaying the game because I have free time. When talking to him about "boner", he says its some kind of status that gives ATK, does he mean enemy units or does this somehow apply to playable characters?

ngl orangelo its a mistake to have jumped to other projects right after oihs first chapter, you shouldv just taken a break and cooked smth up to continue it, i bet most people that used to support you or support you were there and are there in the hopes of the continuation of oihs eventualy, because with these other projects its not as appealing, easy to read, intriguing, engaging, interesting and casual as oihs. you shouldv expanded on the success of oihs because it has great potential, romance, sex scenes, intriguing plot, a massive climax at the end with the potential to continue the mystery of the story. you could have taken your time to find inspiration elsewhere while taking a break, but i swear these other projects outside oihs are not it bro


i mean as soon as i saw stockholm syndrome used for 1000th time on a furry VNs as a starting plot, i got cancer, besides i went through some of the story and gave up because i started yawning, but at least in oihs i was constantly engaged in something INTERESTING

Yes I agree bulbark is broken compared to watermal or anything else, should be only def, it doesnt make sense that it already isnt but watermal should still work imo. Also watermal should only be like 75% of mdef converted into dmg bc having a defensive stat turned into offense is always a dangerous route in all rpgs.

Idk how the coding works or who the person is that does the coding, but isnt it possible to straight up make the final basic attack damage be the one that gets calculated to scale instead of stat based scaling? So wulfricks basic attack x whatever scaling currently is. Since there is nothing that adds flat damage to attacks rn this would be the same as having atk scaling but make it possible to use watermal at least. This can also open up +flat weapon damage type of build designs possibly for future builds if it were to work like that (fucko is an example with items that give extra atk on crit).

I already assumed this was the case but since we cant see any scalings in the game at all for some reason I needed to test it and thought it was a bug. Wish he adds scalings in descriptions.

Yo idk if this is intentional or not but, there is something with wulfricks kit that annoys me.  Draining claw does absolutely no dmg when he has bulbark or watermal equipped. It made me wonder if its a skill thats purely based on atk, if so than doesnt that defeat the point of being able to use that skill in the first place with def or mdef builds?

Hey I just wanted to say that the quest coins are too grindy. The progression from bronze to gold is fine I think, but from gold to platinum is extremely grindy. Lets say I want to get to platinum badge, I would have to do the hardest 3 missions in a row constantly because they pay the highest relevant to time spent. With Vulfoxes recommendation, those 3 pay 45 QC in total together. Which means to get to platinum I would have to do them 22 times in a row + 1 single mission just to reach 1000, those 3 together take about 15-25 minutes because of travel time and combat rng. Not to mention if I want the highest tier books or other items I would need to grind beyond that. The 2 star missions take too much time to do and the 1 star missions are rly fast but pay only 6 QC (would need to do them 166+ times in a row)in total making the 3 star missions the best ones to do. Mixing quests also takes too much time as it doesnt create a consistant route to do them and the travel time doesnt make up for it.

I think the jump from gold to plat is too grindy. I suggest making 1 and 2 star missions pay more, silver and gold badge costing more, Vulfoxes recommendation double the QC gained from quests instead and make the items cost more (so that they arent too easy to get with recommendation). This way you can get way more QC, making the badges less grindy but getting both items and badges would require higher grind, the more items you want. Unless there is some kind of event that will require getting a platinum badge with a 1 time quest where you get a massive amount of QC, then its less of an issue but still an issue imo.

Wow thats a lot wtf, I remember there is a npc that talked about penetration being multiplicative, so let me be guess, the % bonus to stats is addative to other percentages in the case of buffs? Lets say Lace has tempest rush active (+50%mag), used vortex twice (+50%mag) and has rubyros flare (+%5 to magic damage) it will calculate: total mag+100%mag buff>ability scaling>final ability damage increase by 5%?

Damn the updates are juicy af and always expand characters. Love it

After playing trough this public update though, I noticed how weak crewmates are relative to their level, especially Cicero after getting all of them to lvl 16.

Also there is a massive lack for equipment variety for lust and melee builds in comparison to the available weapons for ranged combat. This is especially true when starting off the playthrough when doing a melee build, because there is no melee weapon before doing the pirate quest and then have to torturously kill Grauls for materials. Could be fixed by getting a melee weapon from Galiano together with the rifle. 

Not to mention that we need other armor sets , maybe some that have good evasion, some that give mp and can be bought on Harmonia for upcoming magic builds, some that give extra damage or some that regen hp every round...

Theres a bug with Everett and Booner, after triggering the event between the two, the eye will stay at the top left and I can only see that scene when clicking it, none of the other characters in full sprite.

yes thats what i mean, maybe make it work the same way as enchants?
