Game Description
The goal is to pass through the speed radars unseen… and avoid the obstacles along the way. Match your speed to the target speed and you should be all right.

How does your game tie into the theme?
The idea is to drive at just the right speed in order not to be seen by the speed radars. If you manage to remain unseen, you can progress to the next level.

This was a neat take on the theme. It would have been nice to be able to use a controller, especially the analog stick. The d-pad did work for me, but there was no brake option, and one of the buttons pulled up the pause menu.

Thank you for playing! I will consider adding controller support in future games. The brake was a custom setup and that's probably why it wasn't recognized by the controller.

Where I'm coming from, radars tend to only make a photo when you are above a certain speed limit, but will ignore if you are driving slower. So it took me a moment to figure that out, but then it was a fun little round of racing action, and definitely an unusual take on the genre, so Kudos for that, exactly my kind of humor.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Those radars are kind of faulty, so they work in their own way.

It took me a bit to understand the goal, but once I did I was able to progress past the first level. I thought it was funny that the car would slow to a crawl while trying to go up a hill without any fuel cannisters 😅

Like the music, and admire the amount of work I know went into setting up the track(s) in only one week. I think I would have appreciated a little more room to get to the target speed for the first speed trap, and for those gates I just had to keep playing the game over and over to remember where they'd open as my reflexes were not nearly good enough to avoid them. :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I originally had more traps set up, but I had to give them up as the game was way too punishing. I left the obstacles unmarked, as an ”unseen” challenge. In future games I may consider implementing multiple levels of difficulty.

I like the visuals and the concept! The action music was fitting and the sound effects of the car engine and the objects appearing / falling was nice. The turning felt a bit unresponsive at times, though maybe that’s just my skill issue lol. I think using a longer track for bgm might be a bit better so it isn’t looping so often. Overall a fun game! Good job!

Very fun ! But second level was a bit hard imo. Maybe skill issue from me

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing. Yes, the second level is a bit harder, but I really wanted to put a hefty slope into the game.
