I’m curious how you got the game page to load separate like that, nice touch, controls ain’t it (Z to jump?), loved the artwork and atmosphere and sounds and whatnot, dash was cool as well.

It was my first game on itch.io so i dont really know how to load it in a seperate page but maybe its because I chose "Click to launch in fullscreen" in embed mode. And I really liked the control scheme in hollow knight Z to jump and X to attack thats where I chose my control scheme from! And I'm really glad to hear that you liked the game :)
Hey everyone, y'all know there a lot of things that don't work and a lot of bugs too so, I'm thinking of updating the game. Anyone can give me suggestions what you would like to see in the game. There are 4 things that I will to add in game. 1) Working enemies, 2) Indirect control, 3) Main Menu, 4) Polish the game (SFX, parallax effect, UI, New character...)
Anyone can give me suggestions if you would like to see something in the game ;)
Hey! Awesome project! This game is really pretty, I enjoyed walking through the kingdoms countryside and seeing all the surroundings. The checkpoints were incredibly useful, it was pretty well difficult but the unable-to-be-seen spikes and the spikes near the checkpoint were a little mean. The controls felt great once I understood them, but I frequently had to go back to the page to see the controlscheme. Overall, I got to checkpoint 3, as a first game this is really great, can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
I saw on the forum that this was the first project you put out ? Good job on shipping something, that is really something to be proud of ! :D
I do have a bit of feedback in the future if you are interested on making more platformer games ;
- Focus on a core unique mechanic that you can polish
- Avoid leap of faith
- Make the camera look in front of the player rather than what is behind them
But honestly, my first few games weren't half as good, so well done ! :)
Hey, Thanks for the feedback! and if i remember last time i messed around in a Game Engine was around a year ago in Unity. And this is my first time seriously learning Unity and I thought what's a better way to learn than a game jam. So this is my first time publishing a game and joining a game jam!
like everyone else said, a lot of things are missing unfortunately, but i must say it runs very smoothly!
I see that U joined late and couldnt finish the game
So Ill just give my suggestions :D
- Controls!!! : Instead of z, x and c, use more user friendly key binds like Space for jump, shift/Ctrl for dash and mouse for attacking
- Verticality, instead of just going rom left to right, maybe there could be more movement on the y level
Other than that, for the review, I really liked the artstyle!
Its also worth mentioning that u actually managed to submit a game that wasnt riddled with bugs :) and actually looks pretty amazing!
Not sure what to say, beautiful graphics. 4 useless enemies out of 10
The secondary theme is not implemented at all. Pointless attack mechanics considering that the enemies are basically boxes without a brain.
I would like to give a higher rating, but I don't know why...
