This is a cool gameplay loop one could have found on an old arcade, the art is consistent with cool explosion effects, music is very nice, constantly replenishing energy which works as both ammo and health functions well and I like that the inertia is limited compared with its inspirations, I had fun playing, I think my best score was 4000 points.

Visuals are decent, but avoiding damage is VERY hard, the ship is big and turns slowly, and enemies fire/turn faster than the player. Nice visuals, though.

Good start to a game, I found the rounds a little short, maybe a bigger arena/smaller player might make it a bit easier. Then again maybe I'm just bad lol :P

I like how the asteroids break into smaller pieces when shot. But, the controls are hard, and the player's hitbox is big, making it really tough to dodge the attacks.

Thanks the music is by alkakrab its one of their scfi music packs. The game itself is just about surviving long enough to beat your previous high score although admittedly I didn't implement the scoring system very well.

I feel like the movement is too slow and clumsy, so you can't really avoid getting hit

thanks for your feedback I originally wanted the rocket/player to feel heavy to give a sort of tank feel to it. There was supposed to be a shield mechanic that drained your energy as well but never got round to it.
