The wall will tell you!

Thanks James! Loved being a part of it. Well done on the great event!

GREAT IDEA!

And well done to your wife. It's a beautiful game!

When you say the banner was the next best thing I actually disagree and think it was inspired!

Think about the days of the Gameboy. There was little to no space on those cartridges, so everything had to be reused and optimised. There was no space for any bloat and with constraint comes creativity.
They had to use booklets to explain the game before you played.
Your Constraint wasn't space, it was time. and you handled it beautifully. I'll be taking inspiration in the Jams to come!

Just wow.

Well done making such an amazing game in that time. you really know what you're doing. 10/10

Had to try a few times as I ran into a few bugs and soft locks. very ambitious for the amount of time and you clearly have a great understanding of mood, post processing etc. well done!

:O Can you slap them when they're down????!!!

Yep. funny. always good to ship something eh!

Ok. Here goes.
First of all. Coming 2nd on the leader board was infuriating...

This is the best game I've played this Jam. Very well thought out and the UX is great. you deserve a lot of credit for the effort you went to in this game. Hats off to you.

My personal feedback for you:
I didn't use the dash because moving diagonally doubled my speed, you can easily normalise this in code with like one extra line so I'd have a look at that as it made one of the mechanics you spent time on unnecessary.

Your art was great, your use of the theme was great, your use of the banner as a manual was great. 9/10 because I couldn't figure out the buckets.

Well done Old Chap!!

Wow you gave it a good effort! Thank you! I got to 2k but that's as far until I think it needs a level two with different people to slap and more intense waves etc. maybe for the next version!

Thanks for the feedback, Yeah the issue is the SFX weren't compressed correctly, making the PlayerController break. I fixed it for the most part but some people are still experiencing issues.

Appreciate you playing and glad you enjoyed it!

You know what? Good fun game! Want some pew pew sounds and could do with being a bit harder but I very much enjoyed it. Well done for the theme as well :)

I'm not hating on the use of AI, I personally have no problem with people using it.
It's just I didn't feel like there was much of a game. also, that contrast on your page is going to hurt peoples eyes!

Very Cute, I love the art and the concept. very well done

Not sure if I understand, but if it's success probability 0% you nailed it as I have no idea how to win

Couldn't get past Reginald, I offered him things I am not proud of.

I wasn't able to jump or anything. looks clean and I love the drillbug!

I'd love to see where you were headed with that game to give it some sort of loop.
Well done

Well done

We had the same idea but a completely different outcome!
Everything worked well, although I would have liked to see a bit more fun to push me to play it more.
Good job

(1 edit)

Unfortunately It didn't work for me, just followed the fishing rod.
The look of the game is beautiful

Very Thought Provoking. Not sure about the link to the theme though

Thank you very much! What I have in mind requires a little difficulty changing directions. But I will tweak it to feel less "soapy"!

I'll 100% add w to jump, it's not doing anything right now anyway so that's perfect!

Really appreciate you stopping by and I'll add a new version soon!

How on earth! this game is so full of content!! well done. very fun, deserves to place highly!!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Although I'll definitely do a shift to increase pace a bit if we expand the game.
The musci is fantastic, Filoouuu is brilliant at what he does. so happy to have him on board!

Well this is a visually very beautiful game.
It does however... show me that I'm terrible at typing.
Well done, good entry!

Game works very well! I'd like some audio / visual feedback to make the game give a bit more of a "well done!" but great use of theme! GG

rhythm section was tough due to animations but the whole artstyle and progression of the game was a lot of fun. well done!

prince of persia (old school) vibes going on here. nice game!

Very good start to an RPG, had it been longer I would have kept playing!

pretty decent submission, you obviously have some idea of how to put together a deckbuilder RL. Horns as the attack catalyst is a nice touch

The amount you got done in the timeframe is amazing. great mechanics, interesting puzzles and good visual feedback. well done!

Thanks for the feedback. definitely feel like a bit more time play testing would have fixed this before the end of the Jam but I'm happy I've learnt what I have. :)

Yep, a papers please style game. Works well!

Adding some UI elements to see how you're doing would be nice. But yeah. Well done with the amount of work you put in to the dialogue in such a short time!

I like it. A tower defense style, with a pacman vibe.

I think there's a lot of potential for this idea. I'd keep on exploring it! Good work!

Yep fun puzzle platformer! I can see some jump kimg influence here and you did very well for such a short jam!

I like the premise, I was playing in browser and apart from killing the rats I was unable to make any more progress. Will give it another go to try and advance a little further :)

Horn? Yes. Rebuild? Yes.

Nice take on the theme, stacking games are instinctively addictive and I played a few rounds, maybe a bit of NPC variation would be nice but I get it was a week jam!

This game looks good! I would like a little more leniency to get stuff wrong but I guess that's part of the git gud vibe.

Very pleasing to look at and the horn was incorporated as a core mechanic. Gg

You know what. The brief was build a game based on horn and rebuild. I think it's a solid pass.

I'd like to see a bit of your personality in what you create as this can feel quite templates. But yeah. You did what was asked 🤣
