Thanks for the awesome feedback!! Glad you like the game. The plan is definitely to collaborate with an artist next time. This was my first jam ever, so I wasn’t sure how to find someone to work with, and I ended up using AI, but still I kept AI involvement to a minimum, just to ensure I could deliver on time. I also edited the generated artwork and animated the protagonist myself (hope that helps!) But yeah, having some artist friends would be great.

Interesting idea! Dodging the projectiles while driving is really fun.

Clearing the zombie waves is super satisfying, good job.

The minimalist visuals look really nice and polished. The player's ship is a bit hard to control, but that might just be a skill issue on my part. Great work!

Sprites look nice, and the attack power up is super fun to use. The music is good, but some SFX are really loud.

The art and music are great, and the gameplay is fun, but the game is quite challenging. After I teleport, the bee finds me instantly and starts shooting right away.

The art looks great, and the boss visual is cool. The idea to keep moving between different towers is interesting, and trying to use the shield on every bullet as possible is really fun.

Quite difficult, but the art style is really nice. And I like how the player rotates when we move it.

When the level borders started to break apart and fly towards me... that was really cool!

I like how the asteroids break into smaller pieces when shot. But, the controls are hard, and the player's hitbox is big, making it really tough to dodge the attacks.

The shield as the main mechanic is a really cool idea! Sometimes, enemies would get stuck on the shield, and I’d get zillions of points. Not sure if that was intentional, but it was a lot of fun as I kept trying to get them stuck again! The character animations look great. Overall, a fun game with a lot of potential! But the screen shake was so intense that  sometimes even the UI would go out of the screen.

I’m not quite sure how this fits the 'bullet hell' theme, but I do like the label on the character indicating its state. It seems like an animation prototype, but it's still a clever idea!

Super polished and it's very satisfying to hit the enemies. Congratz!

Woah, thanks for the awesome comment!! I am really glad you enjoyed the game.

I'm sorry about the SFX issue, it's a shame it kept you from completing the game. Still, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed what you played!

Thanks for the nice words, glad you like it!

A classic bullet hell, great work. The art is awesome!

Thanks! Your game is nice too, I really like the art style

Interesting combination of genres.

It was a bit confusing at first, but it's a super interesting idea. And 57kB?? How is that even possible?

The sound issue is sad T_T, I was in such a hurry to upload the build before the end of the jam that I forgot to adjust it and now it's too late, But I'm glad you were still able to enjoy it

This was my first game jam ever! When I started developing, the jam had already begun, so I had fewer days to work on it, but it was really fun! I worked alone this time, but I’m excited to try it with a group next time.

My game is a platformer combined with bullet hell, featuring an explosive cat! Sadly, I couldn’t finish the game... There aren’t any bugs that I know of, but the sound effects are quite annoying (you may mute it, I don't mind :)), and I didn’t have much time to design levels, so they’re pretty basic.

I hope anyone who gives it a try enjoys it! I might continue working on the project after the jam, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
