The color scheme, the pencil-sketch sprites, the comic book esc panels! So so yummy. This is visually so beautiful and the writing was really gripping as well. I feel like I really got to look at a tiny part of these guys’ lives. Really nice work!

Oh, it's absolutely beautiful visually, and the cursor??? Incredible. The framing that made it look like something taken out of a comic, the entire atmosphere that made me think of those weird Westerns that played ages ago on my grandma's TV... really good job

I love this story and its take on the theme, and it feels so perfectly set, like the wife being a literal visual wedge between the two. So polished all around!!

it’s so rare to see a visual novel that is SO adept with its visuals, especially in a 36 hour game jam with such a huge time constraint… but it really is just so incredible how it came together so well! the way the characters are framed and how these frames move play such a vital role not just in the storytelling but as a way to keep me visually engaged too. i’m not a huge fan of the wild west unless you count the wild west island from poptropica, but this setting really comes together to give a well fleshed out snapshot – and again, for such a short jam it really is incredible!

i just loved the framing of the last choice too, the decision to either shoot or not is just as tense as it ought to be. this entry really puts the visual in visual novel and the novel in visual novel! on one hand, i feel like these characters had very fleshed out narratives just from this glimpse, but on the other hand i’d love to see more about them too! eager to see where this goes :D

I literally YEEHAW'd  when I saw the cursor lmao that was so much fun. Really clever staging, really rich atmosphere, and excellent execution (pun not intended) on the minigame-choice.

I absolutely adore the art! the reds and yellows are so striking, and I love the visual divide between the two men that's furthered by the wife. Every part of the visuals strengthened the story in such a satisfying way.

And the story ... wow! Lobo's voice is strong, and there's so many fun bits of description. The premise works extremely well, and the final decision is so striking! Even as I thought Lobo was wrong about his theory, the pressure of having the gun out made me shoot Badger in my panic ... whoops.

I absolutely adore this one. Thanks for making it!

The GUI and the art were so good?? I love the detail of the cursor being crosshairs and how it would turn red every time you click. The colors were also very fun with how bold all the choices were! I also had a lot of fun with this one. I always love a good cowboy story!

Boy was I rootin' and tootin' maxxing when I saw this entry was on the list, cowboys forever (or according to the story, maybe not forever heheheh)!! The naming of "imposter" slowly shifting was so clever and really set this story in a strong point of view to nail down the theme. Not to mention, your shots were so dynamic and I love the incorporation of visuals and the cleverly themed cursor to make that final choice! 𐚁⊹₊ ⋆

The visual storytelling in this was so unique and really stood out to me! I really loved how dynamic the layouts felt. The way Susan's sprite jutted between the other characters was so effective. Excellent presentation overall.
