Truly the mc is a person by the people and for the people. And thank you! If I'm not giving a well-rounded experience, then I'm not doing my job well!

Oh that's weird, I can't seem to replicate the issue on my computer or my friends'. I'll look into it though and see if there's anything I can do on my part to fix it, and omg I love hearing that you played it over call with your friend--so relatable. I'm happy that the mc provided some good entertainment LOL
Yesssss--you get it! I hope that while people get their yandere fix, they also come away from this game feeling like they've gained or learned something, whether it be about themselves, or the experiences described in the narrative. I love adding little layers and strings to characters, and infusing "routes" with different ways to explore different themes and aspects of the mc!
Oh man, you've got me blushing and kicking my feet--I really can't stress enough how happy your comment has made me and the care and thought you put into it!
I'll let the game and player choices speak for themselves as more weeks come out, but I will agree that characters aren't made with the intent to fulfill some straightforward purpose of being good/bad, and that the mc isn't a wise, all-knowing narrator. Maybe Ashley's intentions are misunderstood, maybe they do just see the mc as someone they need to manage and play nicely with, or maybe it's something else, we'll have to see how things shake out I guess!
Again, thank you so much for investing yourself in my humble little demo--I shall annoint you with an official Bachelors in RBS studies, as goes my power as the developer!
Sorry about any issues you had! I currently have to rely on the people to report bugs since the game runs differently on different computers and I don't have any official testers. If you're able to give me the version date you downloaded, error tracebacks, or further examples of any issues then I might be able to help!
And just imagine... we've over doubled that number by the time I'm responding...!
The chronic doubt may be chronic, but damn if the responses aren't like a soothing balm of reassurance that something's going right. Honestly, your work has kept the bar raised for me in every project we've done, and I'm always hoping to make something that brings more eyes to the people who helped make my projects reality. Sound is such an integral part and theme of this game, so seeing you step up to the plate and make arrangements to fit the vibes I rant about in the writing doc is so surreal. Bro became an expert guitarist at the drop of a hat. Whenever I'm trying to find my place in writing, it's always your compositions I go to because you nail a vibe so well!
Thank YOU for trusting the process and investing your time and effort into this game--it is my loyal duty and intention to make sure you walk out of this many followers and dollars richer than when you entered!!
WAHHH!! You spoil me with your praise!
The way I was sweating thinking people would hate how Week 1 is spent setting up the mc and situation before the yandere finally enters, but I'm happy that it seems that it's being enjoyed as a whole entity! Not to downplay Foks of course--my love, my light, my bane with those damn bangs. I can't wait to get down to the next week so you can see more of the boys and hopefully get your heart broken again when the chapter end screen comes up (sorry, not sorry).
People get your votes in, we're aiming for the game of all time of 2026!!
Hm, yeah--if you're following the order from top to bottom, Ex:
Bun
Meat
Onion
Bun
-> Bun, then meat, then onion, then bun
Then everything should work and register fine. I haven't been able to recreate the issue you mentioned, so unless further reports with documented evidence come in, I can't figure out what to fix--so sorry about that!
Luckily though, skipping minigames will not lock you out of progressing the story!
Yay! I'm glad that the characters, including the mc, can stand on their own here--it always stinks when you play a romance/yandere game and it feels like the cast doesn't have much to offer outside of filling the screen >m<
If a yandere is losing it in a crowd of 2d npcs... do they even make an impact? [ponders my philosophical skull]
Game and CG-wise, thank you as well! I'll be honest, I'm the worst at rhythm games because my eyes can't keep up with the screen and my fingers go rogue, so I incorporated those particular minigames in mind to just be a chill time with fun dialogue branches that don't penalize you heehee
Tysm, I'm so glad that I could capture the experience for you. I definitely still struggle with anxiety like crazy, but it makes me so happy that others can relate to how I depict the experience, a lot of it inspired by my actual headspace in college heheh. I cherish and adore this game, as buggy and boggling as it can be for me at times, and I hope that it can continue to touch, and eventually inspire anyone who sees themself in the mc to keep on growing and know they're not alone!
Hello! Yes sometimes the parallaxes get a bit testy, usually if you exit out of the screen or do something else that messes with the mouse tracking logic, but it should be nothing game-breaking. As for the second image, I don't know if I'm missing something but it seems normal? Or at least, I can't pinpoint where something is going wrong unless I have video or code traceback evidence, sorry about that! I just pushed an update that should fix one of the camera transforms, but I also put instructions in the startup tutorial option that handles what to do if the camera is still behaving weirdly. Let me know if that solves anything or if you're still having issues that get in the way of playing the game. Thanks!
