Thank you!! I really wanted to make sure the choices in that dress up scene were meaningful one way or another >:)))

Oh my gosh, I commend you and your committment HAHA!!
Thank you, I had a lot of fun designing the aesthetics and characters of the game (even Spencer, the little butthead that he is)! While it was definitely the nightmare of all time to code everything in, I'm glad people appreciate the customization freedom, makes it all worth it in the end lol.
And yes, that message is my personal PSA to the masses LMAO
Thank you for such a thoughtful and kind comment! I agree, I made the hitbox a little strict so I'll definitely be fixing that after the jam so that people can put on the shoes and hair more intuitively. It's always so disheartening to see how clothes are used as an argument against victims of any sort of altercation, so no wrong clothing choices here, we dress how we want!!
That canary button was genius, and I loved checking on it periodically to see the changes in its dialogue, great way at adding to the immersion with such limited assets! The story itself was another Pamdrabbles masterwork as always, with characters saying so much more with their words than what you'd expect from a 1k cap. Gonna go listen to some Crane Wives and contemplate canaries for what is not the first, and will not be the last time in my life...
Thank you for suffering through not one, but TWO of my games and getting the feels heheh. I'll admit it was quite tricky trying to get a vibe across 1k words so I'm glad that the point was made.
And thank you for pointing out the sound bit! I'll be updating the warnings so people have a bit more time to prep their ears :3
Hello! I've made a background with a crowd of people moving but have some of the other figures shaded differently and moving in an alternate fashion to add depth. Is this in violation of the composite backgrounds rule? If so I can either make the darker shaded crowd move in tandem with the lighter shaded crowd or just remove the darker shaded crowd entirely if needed.
Oh shoot, so sorry for the very delayed response on this!
It's a bit confusing but there's 2 uses for the journal: one in-story that only shows up during select moments and then outside of the story in achievements that's accessed via the button. The one in-story operates by looking for you to input certain bolded keywords that show up in the scenes beforehand in order to get more "special" entries from Barbara compared to what you get if you enter anything else.
An example being: [SPOILER] "Clown" for Cameron!
Of course and thank you for playing! In general, I'd suggest options that push back against Cypress / Express your MC's independence more versus the more friendship/gentle-esque choices.
If needed though, we can also publish a more in-depth walkthrough (Hint: Pick Ursus as your name for extra Ending B points!)
Right??? RIGHT???? Subjecting Katherine to arguably the nightmare sleepover from hell was worth it if it meant I get to have a killer with a blond-haired, blue-eyed man hate/loving agenda under my name. Sorry Katherine :33
Thank you! I didn't even know ctc's were a possible thing and then when I saw them I was like "we must... have... spinning fish..." This is all going under my belt on my extended gui learning journey teehee.
Please please PLEASE let us never stop making games, I fear Katherine has raised my standards in this industry to monumental heights. The chefs send their regards ;))
What beautiful GUI you have there, I must say. Is it bad that I'd totally be like "oh a stranger... but like...hot" and just let it all be water under the bridge? MC gets an L for the major fumble. The kinetic text adds SOOO much to the experience, I've definitely got a thing or two to learn from you! (^3^)
Me and JR? We're like this [crosses fingers]. What. A. Nightmare. I love it! I found myself absolutely cringing at all the worst moments like oh my gawsh I felt like I could personally very well be the receiver of Geoff's wrath at any moment... Because I am nosey, I took a peaksie at the ending and DAMN bunny with the "Have the day that you deserve" ahh closeout killed me! (╬ ಠ益ಠ)
WAGH THE ARISTRY OF THIS LIKE??? Best background ever award goes to you for sure for sure. I love how you used the creature to make such a poignant argument about people and their relationships. And that ending line? Chef's kiss, I'll be slapping my legs and going "that's good... why didn't I think of that" for days.... Σ(゚Д゚)
