Just a regular bullet hell, like dozens of others. The "spin" theme isn’t really explored—this animation could have been replaced with anything, and nothing would change.

On the third boss, using the killer feature is practically impossible. It activates for just a second, while the entire screen is covered in projectiles, and you die the moment you try to collect them. Adding a few frames of invincibility would be a good improvement.

This is an overall an amzing game even for a non-shump fan like me, also VERY skill-friendly huh for people who arent good at this game (also me) cuz the invis time are SO forgiving everytime i see 5 million bullets on screen i cant help myself getting hurt first so i can spend all that i frames sending bullets back to the boss XD (holding down space for good meeasure)

when i looked at the good time requirments i can already see how fast people are doing these bosses, and the death system reminds me of my own game where you can continue the boss even if you died, but you should make the boss heals when i died so i cant just i frames my way EASILY thru all the bosses XD

even when the third boss started introducing the black bullets that you cant touch at all its still a very easy thing to work with how im playing already, also why am i graacing bullets so much better when NOT using the slow down, am i skilled...?

I’m a big fan of shmups, and I must congratulate you on this masterpiece. Incredible video game, the main mechanic feels fresh and very addictive, offering skilled players the chance to defeat bosses in a very effective and fun way. The final encounters are truly mind-blowing and very challenging, but they allow the player to use all the resources of the game. The wide variety of enemies, designs, and attack patterns are brilliant, and the protagonist’s ship hitbox is extremely precise, always feeling fair. I really liked the elegance with which the text is presented, it’s a very beautiful pixel art. Do you know System Erasure, creators of Void Stranger and Zero Ranger? Oplero’s style reminds me a lot of the works of this studio, and it feels great. I hope you can continue developing the game!!! Best Regards!!

I'm a big fan of both of those games! While I wouldn't say ZeroRanger was a direct inspiration, it was probably subconsciously factored in. For the text transitions i mostly looked toward Ikaruga's very opaque translation. There's a narrative I swear!!

Ohhh, you know Zero Ranger and Void Stranger, they are really awesome! Ikaruga was also a very innovative game, I’ve always loved Suzuki’s art! I recommend Sin and Punishment, which features the same artist and is also from the company Treasure. Anyway, you’re a great artist!! Greetings and have a great day!!

sin and punishment is also fantastic :))

High art shmup

I'm glad to have lived to play it

Sheminael's (I'm terrible with names so I'm sorry if I got it wrong) maps are a religious experience. Chapter 4's alright, but that's where it peaked to me. Let me meet your map designer, what a hero.

A game that will certainly be among the best of the jam! Everything about it is incredible, all the sounds are satisfying, the animation is beautiful, the art is very well done! I had a lot of fun playing and the amount of content that a boss brings just with its new forms is incredible! Congratulations on the great work on your game!

Damn this one takes me back to early arcade games from the 90s Loved these style of bullet hell plane games and this is a great twist on the formula! I enjoyed it a lot.

Wow, just wow. This might be one of my favourite games so far. The retro arcade style, the amazing well designed bullet hell patterns, the beautiful pixel art... I liked almost everything from this game and even replayed some of the bosses. It's so addictive and polished that made me forget for a moment that it was a jam submission. I would just say that the theme implementation wasn't really strong, but despite that, I give it a 10/10, amazing job!

I love the visuals in general but there is something very appealing about the pre level art style. It's very fun and the mechanic of charging the spin attack with near misses is great. Nice one
