First of all, We love that bird-orb thingy, it adds to the mystery of the forest. The mouse is tooooooo sensitive for us, but it was playable. We also found those little kangaroo-fox-monster-deery(?) cute and comically annoying XD. They spawn too fast and they’re eating US XD. It was fun to play around though. Definitely a start for something big.

it’s a bit critical, but We really do hope you take this to improve much more! Good Luck!

P.S. You should Definitely Name those Kangaroo-deer monsters XD (Roodeer?)(Deeranga?) XD

I like the flying bird (orb). The forest is claustrophobic and those rabbits are so funny as terrifying :)

Good start for something bigger.

I think the main problem with this game is that I was totally lost. While that might be relevant to the theme, it was quite frustrating since I didn’t understand the map and only ever found one shrine. I mostly wondered around aimlessly with an army of mutant rabbits chasing me. The game was still fun in its own quirky way, and I enjoyed the laugh and mild adrenalin rush of tuning a corner only to find even more rabbit kangaroos wanting to destroy me!

It's pretty fun, and I love the aesthetics... although the environment looks a bit empty. The camera sensitivity is a big high for me.

Too many enemies, I have no time to kill them all, hahaha.

But overall not bad for a jam!

I'm sorry I didn't play it for a very long time, I didn't understand the controls and got stuck soon (please consider to include a small gameplay tuto, even if it's just 1 picture with the list of controls). In addition the mouse sensitivity was way too high for me, a short move was turning the camera too much (I suffer of motion sickness, so I couldn't stand it here).  It could be due to the fact that I chose a low resolution (1280x960): in Unity the mouse moves are sometimes impacted by that. Also I found that the texts in the intro were scrolling too fast, I didn't have the time to read and translate in my head (I'm not English) and to finally understand. I read the most important words (about the Graal etc), so I got it globally. Well I think it was all too fast for me, maybe you're drinking too much coffee and are under adrenaline all day? lol

In the end you could think I didn't like your game, but you would be mistaken. I actually could see a lot of positive sides, and there is a lot of potential. First of all it is inspired by some other games that I love, such as Shadow of the Colossus, and Zelda (with the fairy following us). I also think the gameplay could work well with some improvement, and overall it looks quite cool with this cell-shaded style! Thanks for making it, you can be proud of the result. I'm curious to see what you're going to create next!

You can dab in this game!

I found 2 shrines before the game became unplayable because of the framerate massively dropping. This is probably due to the endless spawning of these kangaroo things .

It's very hard to know where you are and where to go, and the map doesn't really help. I didn't find any troll either, except for the seemingly decorative troll heads in the ground, and the inanimate model of a troll at the starting area.

It certainly is fun to punch the enemies, but fighting is not really encouraged since you gain nothing from it (except freeing some RAM to continue playing with decent fps).

Still, I had fun exploring and throwing some punches, so I'm looking forward to a more finalized version!

Developer

Yeah, the game turned out a bit messy since we had to redesign it from scratch day before the submission date. There wasn't really much time to think through it so big parts of it don't work well together. Thanks for the critique and good thing you had fun with punching and dabbing.
