The game was pretty fun. Each part was enjoyable, the cartoony graphics, the music, the story, My sister loved the old man’s laugh. The classic point and click was a breath of fresh air.
Thank you! Ahah yes I think the laugh is quite funny, I should try to add more of these voice sound effects on the other characters too.
A really enjoyable experience. The graphics of the game are top-notch, and in combination with the music they give an incredibly pleasant, tropical-like experience. Very interesting characters along the way, and an impresive atention to detail; from the shaders applied to the water parts of the painting, to the eneternaining dialogue you can easily see how much effort has been put into this game. Amazing work!
Thank you Naps! You also did an excellent job on your game and the graphics ;)
Very nice game! The graphics are amazing and the light hearted, but still mysterious story is fun to play through. With a few tweaks here and there, I think this could turn into a remembered and loved point and click classic! Maybe even a series?
Thank you! I hope we will continue it! A series I don't think so, we will focus on trying to finish this one story first ;)
A very finished and playable creative game at this moment. Very vibey lost tropical island feel, with interesting characters, not excluding a wisecrack parrot. Also lots of artists in this game, as well. The game plays well and has a surprising smooth quality to it, and it looks like the developer really enjoyed working on this project.
Thanks ;) Indeed it was fun to work on it! But it's also thanks to all the enthusiasm of everyone involved in our game jam ;) Congrats to all the participants who will read this.
I love the aesthetics, the environments, the animations... everything is really cool!
And the story is really interesting... great work!
Thank you BlurredGames! We did our best. John can be proud of his graphics, Roger of his Druidic project, Yaz of the music... Together that's what gave me the motivation and ideas to develop it as much.
Monkey island meets Coral cave, with a lovely hand-painted art style! It seems to me like a huge amount of work: specific animations, dialogs everywhere, advanced inventory system... I'm impressed.
Thank you Nico! It's far from being as impressive as yours, so coming from you it's an honor. Being compared with Monkey Island and The Coral Cave is an honor too: Two of my most inspiring p&c games. I hope John will want to continue to work on the watercolors to allow us to release a full version.
A real little traditional point & click game made in a few weeks! Many dialogues, objects in inventory, a code to discover, sets made by hand, with many animations full of charm and an omnipresent humor. Very entertaining!
Thanks for playing it!
