Nice one!

I liked the music and i like tacos so all in all I'm glad I took the time to get it working.  I'm extremely picky about platformer controls and honestly have seen much worse jumps, I really didn't mind this and think it wouldn't take much tweaking to feel great which to me s.  I can tell you had fun making this and that joy translates through it, I think. Congrats on the submission! :)

Cool game, I'm impressed that made it alone on python so GG for that bro. I like how put the theme into the game with a character who is looking you and who is everywhere ( it's funny because we had a similar idea on our game ) the problem for me is the jump that don't have a great feelings in my opinion but good work and continue your game !

Very cool. The controls were janky, the pixel art style was different between a lot of the assets, and all around it wasn't very well designed, but it did have a taco, so all criticisms are instantly removed.

That was a cute little game. I liked how you incorporated the theme more as a part of the story. If you hold jump right as you're hitting lava, you will jump while resetting. Maybe try disabling movement until they land after a reset. I also liked the music and the art. Great job!

It technically fits the theme, but it’s enough. One thing I really didn’t like is the controls, they feel really unnatural. But overall, it’s a nice little game. 4 stars
