How does your game implement the focus, Multi-Use?
The cauldron that is used for cooking can cook in three different ways, boiling, frying and grilling. That is the implementation of multi-use in my game.

Pretty cool concept, although this game really needed a tutorial. I didn't really know what to do. Also, the combat system could use some work. Other than that, though, nice game!

The game was good. Everything was working well and the game was fun too.

The learning curve was a bit steep, at least for me. It was hard to grab all the concepts and actually play the game.

Disclaimer: I fully understand this is a game jam game not everything can be done but even then I give very "tough" feedback so if you can't handle that kind of "criticism" it's ok just don't read my message.

The music feels very repetitive, quite loud and not much tolerable you should be careful with volume settings and try to avoid or maybe not avoid but be very careful with using very short loops as the main background music.

It's kind of confusing trying to figure out what to do, even after figuring out about the cooking in the oven (or whatever that is) I still had no idea what I was doing, my assumption was there's some recipes with the pepper thingies but it would be nice to have a list for them somewhere.

The spritework is alright but the ground tileset could use some improvement as it is "too busy" in my opinion (too distracting), some more "mosaic-like" ground coul help, the current one can be kept still but more as to give variety rather than being "the main ground tile" if you get  what I mean.

There's no indication of where to "cancel" cooking, I only figured that was possible because of going down, instead of using the player to move through the cooking options you could add in a UI menu to make it easier to navigate for the player.

The hitboxes felt kind of interesting but the main complaint with enemies would be there's no feedback whatsoever when taking damage nor when doing damage and if there is (there might have been) it's kind of played at random as I did hear some random sounds playing sometimes, the main character's attack range is also perhaps too short and doesn't seem possible to be able to avoid damage sometimes, the attack also seems like a "Toggle" instead of "Holding" or even just by Pressing the attack button so be careful with that.

All in all hey you managed to submit and publish, good job, you should be proud and even if there's issues, use them as a learning experience. It's an interesting concept.

Hey! Thanks for the thorough feedback. The thing was that the background music whipped up at the last minute, as the music composer had some personal problem. I wanted cooking to feel a bit more interactive than clicking buttons which is why I kept it like that. When the enemies take damage there is a text popup telling how much damage they took. Also, the attack animation looks like "Toggle" but you have to press it every time you want to attack.

I wasn't sure what was going on at first but then was able to find few things on my own...like how to cook and from where to get coins , sadly you provide lil to no information on whats going on but thats fine , the music is decent , the game works as intended (had two crashes tho) I like the idea behind the game you did a great job and gave you a good rating! :D

It was kind of meant to be that you figure out things on your own. I, however, have now idea why it is crashing on so many peoples computers. It worked well on my computer and my friends computer.

its fine and understandable I actually like the games where you need to figure things out on your own I actually liked your game as I said...also the crashing issue happened on my game too it didn't crash on my system but it did on others , its entirely fine! and I gave you a good rating don't sweat it fam you did great! :D

I really liked the idea! I noticed that tiles and sprites gets a bit glitchy, i would suggest you to look into Cinemachine and Pixel Perfect Camera components for Unity.

The game looks nice, and I like the idea.

I did get stuck from time to time, unsure of what to do or where to go. A little more info or explanations could've helped. Good effort!

Game seemed to keep crashing for my, but I gave it a good try. Good job trying though!
