I really liked the art style, the mechanics are simple but nice, even if i feel like it gets a bit easy on the long run.

Would you like to try my entry too?

Developer

Thanks!

While developing the game, I thought the game gets a bit too hard, so I modified some spawn times, and added some meteors!

Also I would definitely try out your game! it's just that I'm in school right now...

Nice game! The art style is nice and coherent, and it fit the theme really well.

Nice theme-focus implementation! Liked fire tumbleweed )

I like the ultra low-res pixel art in this. It took me a few tries but I managed to work out the gameplay and got a score of 2825. It might be nice to add some additional mechanics, as the strategy felt a little bit limited. I like the animations and sound effects. Nice work!

Nice overall presentation! You touched on all the major components of a game, and I think if you aim to do more overall in your next game jam you'll do well! Other people have said it, but clearer instructions would be helpful too.

Developer

Yeah...
My main limitation was the free version of construct 3, which had a limit to events and layers, but probably by the next jam I would've learnt Godot which would make the process easier.

Nice Game

Thanks!

I didn't understand how the game works, even with the explanation at the description. The art style is nice, though

Cool game!

I liked the art style

I'm proud of how the art turned out too, it was pretty hard animating the player in 8x8, and also the jump animation doesn't play correctly  (the first frame plays for too long), but other than that, its really nice!

I'll attach a gif of what the jump animation is supposed to look like:

This was a neat game! I had a little trouble understanding how the drink water/put out fire stuff worked and I wasn't entirely sure why the game ended. But I think with a little more information around how I am supposed to play this could be a lot of fun! Great work.

Developer

Thanks for the positive reply! I would've added more instructions but I was using the free version of construct, which had a lot of limitations on me, and I do agree that the game ends a bit suddenly without any indicators, and I have tried to add some indicating but it didn't go well.
Hopefully next jam I could do better as I'm learning Godot!
