The art and sound is gorgeous, loved the heat wave effect/shader!

However I was kind of confused of what to do and how the game works. I tried to press [E] when prompted but had no success I also had some issues that I was damaged by a enemy after killing them.

But for a solo dev in such a short time this game shows a ton of potential! Congrats :)

The game looks really nice. Very cute and colorful pixel art, and I appreciate all the different kinds of sausages that are available. The music is also quite pleasant.

It is somewhat confusing that the defeated sausages can still hurt the player. Thematically, what does pressing "E" represent? I also couldn't figure out where to deliver the sausages. Finally, note that the level generation has some imperfections: in one game I spawned in a dead end area that was surrounded by lava on three sides, and I just had to refresh the page.

Nice game ! Very like your sprites art!

To me it seems a little strange that sausages still hurt you when you cooked them up.

I liked the heat wave effect/shader you have going on here, it was a nice touch. Good job!

Good art style. With a little more polish on the gameplay side, I think this game could be great!

I'll be plainly honest.

The game looks neat, the art is very cute & adorable. & it seems like load of fun to play at first glance. which made me want to play it asap. But the gameplay is a bit painful & hard to understand.

It took me a quite a few runs to understand how to play:
-First I thought E would pickup the sausage. so I didn't understand why they stayed on screen and was mashing the button but nothing was happening. (that was my first 4 or 5 runs)
-Then I noticed that the outline change color when you pressed E so I assumed I picked up the sausage but it was just not displayed anywhere & since it was still there, following me & hurting me... I killed them. So when trying to press E near the backpack nothing happened...  That got me thinking the game was bugged. (that was my next 2 to 3 run)
- Then I understood that I wasn't supposed to kill them when picked to be able to deliver them.

The fact that the sausage don't really change sprite when picked or the fact that they still hurt you really doesn't help understanding how the game works. You could fix that by making them smaller when picked or making them diseapear or display a number of sausage picked on your UI.

Also sometime the backpack is quite far & hard to access. not sure if the maps is generated proceduraly or if you spawn in a different place every run but the backpack should be easily accesible else you get overunned before you can even reach it which can be very frustrating.

Also not a big fan of postprocessing effect on top of pixel art. it make the whole thing wobbly & blurry. but that's a matter of taste.

But apart from that the game is pretty neat, it looks good, the music is nice & the sound are really juicy & fit great with what is on screen.
With a little bit of rework to clarify the gameplay & maybe a little bit of balancing it can become really fun to play. In the mean time you should maybe add some more explaination on your itch page. so the next players won't be as confused as me. ^^

Good work :)

I know it took a little time to reply (I had school), but thank you so much for that great feedback!

It helped me and is going to be a pretty good help for future games tysm!
