So, I made it my mission to get around the black hole so I could try the level, which I managed to do with the bounce pad and use of the mid air jump to just barely shoot over it. However, the controls really aren't all that responsive. Sometimes the jump works, sometimes it doesn't, and the jump itself is shallow and doesn't always seem to give you that much more height if you hold it like you want it to (Though I managed to get it to work just enough to get past the first bounce pad). But still, I made it past, maybe I can see some more levels... and then I see the blackhole right over top of where I presume the exit is. I saw a door above me that didn't seem accessible so the exit is either up there and I have to find a way up, or I am completely blocked in here. If you decide to do a post jam update, I'd love to come back and give it a shot. This looks really nice and has the potential to be a really fun race to the finish type game after some more refinement is done

well i think i will make the game better

Yep, I'm afraid it's unplayable in its current state.

The short looping musical segment in the beginning is kinda annoying, but I know from personal experience that making music can be hard.

The graphics are really good, I'm a bit jealous x)

I like the concept, but like the others mentioned, the black hole is super fast and the game is sadly unplayable. I really really like your characters and the animations, they are very good. Keep it up, it looks like a ton of fun!

It looks very cool, really cool in fact. Sound and music are okay. But as a game - its unplayable. After you talked to the boss (the dialog didnt make much sense to me) you are teleported to a room that looks like its supposed to be a platformer, but the black hole appears immediately and runs superfast. After many tries I managed to jump over it, but it looks like it ran all the way to the end of the level and blocks the exit now, so - dead end. The mechanic that its attrackting you like a magnet would be nice, if the hole was like 6000% slower.

The promotional pic doesn't do the game a service—it's stylish!
It would definitely benifit from a code polish, namely controls response. I reckon with just a couple more people in the team game could be a banger.

i can't understand why are you saying that

In other words, the game looks more interesting then the promotional material :)

Developer

Unfortunately, "press 'v' to talk" didn't work, getting me stuck in the first level. :/
(Also, don't forget a way to quit the game, as Alt+f4 shouldn't be relied on)

it workes for me try pressing V while running

You are right that it works while running, which is very odd. Then after the dialogue the game doesn't seem to progress, until then there appears another dialogue option near a random wall to close the "door." Then the boss has some dialogue and the room resets. Also the jump only triggers, on release of space. This is unfortunately too much jank for me to deal with.  The art looks amazing.

"Also the jump only triggers, on release of space."when you hold space.... you jump higher and you can see that in level 1
