Maybe adding a way to regain life would help balance the difficulty (but that might be cheating since you're a boss XD)

You play as an MMORPG final boss. The battle takes place "On the Edge" of the dungeon, which is also called "Dragon's Edge".

Really neat game. I've seen it in a few other games too, but I love the idea of you playing as the boss. Art was really nice and cohesive and I loved the way the bosses body moved. Good job on the game!
This was awesome! Really challenging at first - I think that some of the collision detection is a bit wonky, but once you get the hang of it its a lot of fun to rain down fiery death on those pesky adventurers! I found that there is a dead spot in the top right of the screen where they won't attempt to attack you at all, which might be deliberate so you can recharge? Oh, and I love the art style!
