I was able to get pretty far (I think) by riding the sides. You need to set your sprites to Point filtering by the way so they don't appear fuzzy. I thought the theme was very interesting!

Developer

Thanks for the advice, this is my very first game, so I am quite new to lots of different parts of the process.

An interesting idea, the game frustrating a bit. The visuals are too blurry and the sound is a bit loud

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, not quite sure what you mean about the visuals though?

Submitted(+1)

On my side, the visuals look blurry as if the pixel art faced compression.

Also, consider checking out our game too!

Developer

I will make sure to! Sorry about the compression issues, I will make sure to look into it.

Challenging game, music was a little too loud and collision was sometimes a little funky, but the idea was cool!

Developer

Thanks, I hope you enjoyed it.

Quite challenging indeed, but I had a lot of fun with it! I think the concept is super clever. I felt bad leaving my fellow bits behind. I think the difficulty is in the right spot but maybe there could be a benefit to saving a bit like a small speed boost. Also moving backwards when getting caught on the platforms later in the game was difficult. Cheers!

Developer

Thanks for the great feedback, a reward for collecting bits is a great idea. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

immense, however, I found it was pretty difficult.

Found it extremely difficult to get many bits without dying (quite possible I just suck and precise movement games) But had to comment to applaud the nerdy play on words with byte back :D

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you appreciated the word play, unfortunately the game is really difficult! We were trying to make it easy, but a friend really enjoyed the challenge and got hooked so we left it as it is.

Oh I understand, there’s definitely a market for infuriatingly difficult games, this would definitely meet the standard :D. May come back and have another crack at it later today.

Developer

I hope so! There might even be another joke at the end, but who knows?
