Bravo. Non-euclidean 3D (with a very immersive initial section) in less than 3 hours? Genuinely great work. Sure, it does feel a little barebones, but the technical achievement in itself more than compensates for that.
I reused a portal system, there isn't much technical done in the 3 hours (most of the time was spent in Trenchbroom and Godot setting up the level)
Tough to make a decent 3d game in three hours, a worthy attempt.
Really fun little game! The non-Euclidian space messed with my brain a bit, in a good way. For the time you had, this is great!
Impressive, given the time allowed. Gameplay seemed a little meh until I got to the end bit which was pretty trippy. Very nice.
I love when geometry of a level messes with your sense of space. That being said, I wasn't able to figure out ANYTHING with this. I just kept wandering through the same series of about 3 or so configurations. Would be nice if there was something more to do, like fighting, or some indicator that the portal I went through changed something besides adding/removing a door...
So... you never got to this room?
Maybe I didn't look up? I'll give it another go later.
Yeah I was originally thinking of some combat, although with 3 hours I'm not sure. I might update the game later with some keys and doors, I think that could be good, and might also help direct people towards where they need to progress.
If you make it to the ending, there's no way out (so you can't wander back into the dungeon), so I suspect you didn't get to the end. That's also the only portal that "changes", everything else is static
Got it today when I tried. Knowing what I was looking for kinda helped. :-)
