I appreciate all the feedback!! Apologies for the bug with losing lives offscreen, I'm not quite sure the cause of it, but I'll dig into it and get an updated built after the jam ends!
Cool gameplay! Can you rate my game to?
Great idea for a game, but I found the gameplay basically boiled down to pressing Z at the appropriate time. There didn't seem to be any need to move the lighthouse beams.
Nice game, good take on theme, would have liked it to ramp up speed quicker :)
I really enjoyed the game, everything is cohesive and the gameplay is very easy to pick up and play.
I did notice a bug that popped up a few times, where the ships will collide before they are even on screen, meaning there was no way to do anything about it - which was a bit frustrating as a player.

Really cute and fun to play, got to 40 but lost all my lifes to boats colliding off screen, maybe when duplicate spawning?

liked the game! the artstyle is unique and is the first game that i saw in a jam that is made in pico 8. Really liked it. The only problem i had is that sometimes the boats would spawn offcamera and crash
Fun game! But lost all 3 lives because ships have spawned one in another (well, i assume this, because there were some orange balls flying from the left side)
