I saw that on the playback! Thanks for saying nice things about it and bummer it didn’t work - I wonder if it was a browser issue. I might have to try with more devices/browsers to figure it out in the future.

The phone-desktop link is done with webrtc (it's also often used for peer2peer chat and stuff). It's medium complicated but there is a ton of boilerplate code for it out there (and most AI models will write decent code for the setup - which is how I did it here, but I've done it elsewhere without the model, which I think helps a lot for learning it).  TBH I want to set up something similar for another game in the future where your phone becomes like an old NES controller or a slingshot launcher.

Thanks for playing it!

Hey that's really fun!

Really solid game! The aesthetics are very pretty.

That's really fun! Pretty difficult, but very fun!

thanks! I was just glad to get the phone link to work!

Ah that explains it! I tried again with holding and it worked! Thanks and nice work!

That's cool! Very hard to master, but a very cool idea. I liked that the enemies had different stats

This looks really good! I think the change into a slug feature isn't working (I'm on mac, american keyboard, and tried all the keys (including E) that I could think of)

I thought it was good! Especially for the time limit

thanks for playing!!

thanks!! And yeah it’s maybe too hard haha

Haha thanks! I was trying something new

haha thanks for playing!!

This was exceptional. I like the art, I like the music, and I enjoyed the game. The plant mechanics were a bit opaque, but I think I understood them by the end? Very fun game

All of the enemies felt faster than me, and as the game went on it grew overwhelming. I think you've bottled some of the experiences of the snail! Nicely made

I like that you could fall off the left and then catch by biting. Maybe you have a good mechanic for a platformer on your hands?

I think you (s)nailed the controls. They're just slippery enough to be challenging without feeling impossible/frustrating. Lots of fun!

That was fun! I couldn't beat the winding level, but I really liked it. Felt polished!

That works really well and left me wanting more!

I think I spent about as much time playing this game as you spent making it. got into the gazillions. Well made!

I don't know why but I'm finding this pretty addictive! I actually think the balance isn't too far off, I haven't been able to find any jank. Nice work!

Yeah it's slop, but it was fun to make! Thanks for playing it!

This was genuinely so cool. Very impressive and glad I played to the end

Thanks for trying it, and yeah, it's slop! There are a lot of hand-made games in the jam for this, and you can see the difference in quality. I like this game, but the visuals lack soul. Was still fun to make!

I liked this game a lot! I agree, it would be a lot of fun on a phone
