Very nice execution! I couldn't quite work out the reason for the storage space compared to the item price. Might have been nice to have the shop fill up with more and more chests as it upgraded but it's quite nice, a relaxing way to spend a few minutes earning imaginary money :)

Thank you for your comment! Completely agree with you on that. My original idea was to have chests pop up with some Storage Space milestones, but the time was pressuring me a lot lol

No need to apologize for your first jam submission! it runs, it counts, the things do what they shall do! Keep going - we all are advancing from jam to jam! You never stop getting better. Well done!

Developer

Thank you very much! That's my objective. Try to participate in the jams and improve as much as I can!

Hey a fellow Construct dev!

This was an interesting idea. The art assets were used well and the systems in play all seem to interact well with each other.

As an idle clicker game, I do think it could use more to click more quickly. Future additions I might like to see are music and SFX (SFX I think are a big part of clicker appeal), and maybe specific items. This may be beyond the scope of your vision, but it would be cool if a customer walks up and has an icon for an item over their head and you have to click it in time to sell it to them. The more storage you have, the greater your chance of having all the items.

Construct rules! At least while I'm trying to learn other game engines, but It'll always have a special place in my heart.

Regarding the comments, I completely agree with you. I enjoy a good clicker every now and then and this one, even though (IMHO) it has an interesting idea that can be worked on, it wasn't very well executed. The most likely case is I pick up this project and try to improve on it, see what can become better and maybe make a good clicker game for everyone to enjoy.

The idea is pretty nice (both gameplay and narrative wise), the way the number scales could be super addicting!

Takes a bit long to get "interesting" though, not necessarily how fast the customers show up, more about how many needs to show before you can get the Gold upgrade.

"Storage space" also seemed kinda pointless.

Hi! Thanks for your comment!

Storage space (unfortunately) is mostly pointless. Didn't really think that one through while working on it.
Will keep your comments in mind when trying to do a better version of it!

Cool idea .

I think have a faster pace would improve the game . still a very intersting concept .

Nice entry !

I completely agree now that I look back on it! Might improve some things in the future!

The game needs a bit of a faster gameplay loop and some polish, but the idea behind it is cool and has potential to be extended. Nice one!

Developer

Thank you very much for your comment.

Have to agree with you on the lack of polish and gameplay loop. I'm seriously considering working on it for a while longer to see what comes out!

The art is beautiful and the game play is also nice..... but playing the game after 2mins becomes boring/repetitive

Thank you very much for your comment.

I have to agree with you on that. I didn’t really think it through. It’s a learning experience anyways and it’s a way of seeing what can work and what doesn’t.

Am looking forward for the next Game Jam to see what I can do to try and create something better.

Regarding the art, it’s all thanks to 0x72 who created this awesome assets for us to use!

Fun game but gets too repetitive after playing for a long time. Its also a little confusing what the main focus of the game is, good first game though!

Developer

I have to admit, it is very repetitive and could have a lot more of "direction" so to speak
Thank you for the review!
