As I said. It is cool game

Lol, there is a vampire that is causing a mass murdering on the city and no one does anything to it.

Seriously, why there is no way to lose in the game (beside no eating enough humans) ? You literally just have to spam Spacebar.

There's also chiptune-like sound effects with not chiptune music. It feels weird.

Solid gameplay along with some humorous dialog.

Love the mouth-opening animation and the core gameplay is great too!

A good game with good humor, the parallax is a good touch.

Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

The parallax really adds some depth to the game, I just love parallax ๐Ÿคฉ

Loved the artwork and the sound in this! I think 2 things that could be improved are:

1) If the player presses SPACE far from a human, the player should instalose (otherwise nothing prevents the player from constantly spamming SPACE).

2) There should always be enough people for the player to eat and survive.

Otherwise a very solid entry, and I also liked the dialogue :D

I agree in what you said, if I continue developing the game, I will make 'space-spamming' more punishing, and I will make it to be possible to always keep running ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The game is designed to make the player lose sooner or later, in 3h I was not able to adjust the difficulty balance, so I decided to make the player lose at some point instead of making the player run endlessly ๐Ÿ˜…

I don't know if I will continue development of this game, but if I do, your points are what I would fix first! Thank you for playing! ๐Ÿ˜‹

My favorite part is the main screen shot w/ the "Hello fellow humans!" I got a laugh out of it. You did a very good job of being expressive with so few pixels.  the way he has his arms out adds to the feeling of trying to act like a fake human. There was a good randomness in types of people as well (and dialogue!). You did a very good job adding enough random elements to keep the game fresh.  The one thing I would like to change would be that you can attack as often as you can press "space bar" so you might want to add a cooldown on it.

I'm glad you laughed at the game's sillyness and that you found it expressive, I was really hoping to achieve that and it looks like I've managed to do it! ๐Ÿ˜

And your critisicm is more than fair, I wanted to keep it simple, but I made it too simple at the end, in part because of the lack of time to develop the core mechanics any further

If I ever continue developing this game, I will surely polish the 'blood sucking' mechanic, adding more elements to it to make it more interesting! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Great concept! Love the humour sprinkled throughout as you're playing ha, really adds to it. Also love the simple artstyle, it pops out so well and looks incredible! The day/night transitions are really well done and also fun to watch. Fantastic game

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, really! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

I was quite insecure about the artstyle as I didn't know if it would hit or miss, but now reading the comments I see it was a good idea making it as it is ๐Ÿคฉ

I love this entry so much! I played this before submissions closed because I couldn't wait.

The random dialogue is funny. My favorite is "May I inspect your neck". The operatic/8-bit-ish(?) music is perfect too. So much detail and polish under 3 hours! I'm jealous!
