Great game, definitely challenging. Could totally see this as a keyboard training game if there was different rows being tested.

This was really fun! Very difficult, but I enjoyed it! My only minor frustration is that you can't change "lanes" when the player is in it's hurt animation, leading to loosing multiple lives at once. Other than that, really fun game!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I need to fix that.

I really like the idea, but I think it's a taaad too hard. Or maybe I just suck! Either way I really do like the game though man- the music especially I thought was great. Keep up the good work :)

Developer

Thanks! It is too hard. I can beat the first two levels (some practice with Stepmania, or dancing with my fingers generally), but I can't beat the third one.

Thanks though!

I can definitely see the potential of a ryhtm-based type trainer! The last level felt a bit unfair to to be honest, since you would often loose all lifes at once.

Developer

I agree! With more time I'd like to rebalance it, and tweak the control sensitivity a little bit.

Thanks! I don't know if you saw, but I got them from https://danieldiggle.itch.io/sunnyside, which ... sigh, was on sale. Would recommend at the sale price of $7.50!

For a 3 hour game, really polished! The gameplay is fun and the music is *really good*. I love the gameplay and that there's 6 keys to hit annoyed me at first, but I realized if it was only 4 then it would be too easy to coordinate one hand haha. I noticed a bug where I would hear the "take damage" sound when I wasn't colliding with any wires.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I have a lot of convenience methods from prior games to build on and it really helps.

A friend of mine suggested it's not the number of keys but those specific 6, because they don't naturally fit one or two hands. I think I'm going to try changing it to A S D J K L and see if that works better.

If you heard the take damage sound, it probably robbed you of a heart! That's a bug and I'll investigate. thanks for letting me know!

That would probably make the controls a bit more intuitive! I'd been playing with 4 fingers from my left hand on ASDF, and two from my right on GH.

Very cool game, rather  well polished, and yeah a scoring system would be really cool, right now it's fun but there isn't any objectives

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah, I'd like to have had a scoring system. If I work on the game more, it's one of the first handful of things I'll do.

Nice idea! I liked it! but unfortunately, it has no scoring system!

Anyway good job! and please check out my game!
