Well done on creating a PACMAN clone so quick!

I think you could have done a little more with the quantum mechanics - I didn't feel the need to teleport often.

The sprites are too good though - very tron-like :)

Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
I had some experience from the triple trijam, so I got it finished quicker.
Yeah, I completely agree with you with the more quantum mechanics part. It was a pretty rushed game as I had my exams and barely got it finished in time

Adding the 'jump' to the traditional gameplay is a cool idea! I had a bit of a hard time playing it since not all controls were recognized which resulted in the Pacman sometimes not turning. Overall great work for accomplishing this in 3 hours!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
I am glad you liked it!
Sometimes it doesn't take inputs yeah, I've had that problem before as well. It should work perfectly if you hold the directional button.

This is amazing; you must be very good in whatever engine/software you use to have done this in 3 hours. The music is great too, and the controls feel perfect.

Developer

Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
I am really glad you liked playing it!

This did give me a retro theme feeling. It was nice to play Pac-Man again so thats a plus. The gameplay was overall decent for me as it was pretty much nearly the same as the original Pac Man. Nice job on the visuals and the programming though!

Developer

Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
I agree that it will pretty much a remake. I tried to give it a twist but it definitely could use some more mechanics.
But anyway, I am glad you liked playing it.

So it's Pac Man, but the ghosts just randomly teleport or change direction?

Were you just to lazy to code the ghost AI?

For a clone, it is really close to the original one, the textures were a bit distracting, tho.

Developer

Hi! Thanks for the feedback!
It is pacman at the core, yes.
I found it really rude for you to call someone 'lazy' for not implementing some functionality that would be rather time consuming. I did whatever I could best in the 3 hours and I am proud of what I've made.
I would like if you were more constructive in the feedback to not just me, but to everyone else in the future.

oh, sorry about that. Personally, I think, being lazy is one of the core characteristics a programmer should have. So it was in no way meant like an insult. I would have probably done something similar since I hate coding AI's.
Though it resulted in a problem, that the ghosts sometimes teleported inside of Pacman. That's really frustrating.

As I said, it is a very good Pacman game and the changed movement of the ghosts really makes it more interesting, as long as you still can act so that you won't get trapped.
