Going to echo what some other people have said and request that the game's controls and mechanics be posted on the main webpage. It's kind of hard to figure out what to do and what the goal is.

Hi sorry for the late reply

controls have been added to the webpage and i'll seek to make things more clearler on what to do in a update

Oh, Yui game!

Notes:

- Maybe Schoolgirl Yui should be given some restraints LOL. Infinite ZOOOOOMING
- In the current state, the game is extremely easy. Too much on the easy side.
- Sometimes Caped Yui's aiming is off when I switch to her... (As in, she'll shoot to the right of my cursor...)
- Somehow got into a situation where the shop's item list and talk texts overlap....

- Also what are these items even for?

- I can see the general vision, even if it's not fully implemented. Really liked the tag team aspect. I feel like it's not fully exploited but it's so cool!

By the way... is it Koshi or Jiro?

Hello thank you for making a post (: yeah in the current state this game is unfinsihed though fun fact her name was originally gonna be Koshi but its too simiair to an already existing touhou character which was Koishi as you can see the spelling is only marignaly diffenret so it was left as Jiro  but that was a hastily made descison so they're might  have been some left over stuff from before i decided to keep her name as jiro

thank you for the bug report i am looking into updating this game to fix it up in areas
i am sorry for the very late response

I liked when Koshi said "can I offer you an egg in this trying time?"

This is a rough one to play. The lack of tutorial or instructions on the controls made me accidentally switch to dash Yui the first time and I had no idea how to use her. Only watching someone else made see there was even an option to shoot. The two leads(or is it just one person really?) leave a lot of questions that appear to unanswered. The dialogue with the shopkeeper reveals more tidbits of lore, and the shop is very interesting visually but the shop items appear to be unimplemented.  I genuinely want to know where this game is going but it seems unfinished for the moment.

I can definitely see the potential of the concept here, it just feels unfinished sadly. Gradually increasing difficulty, some usefulness out of the items in the shop, a bit more dialogue and maybe an ending and this would be great. But even considering what’s here, it was still kinda fun to blast through a bunch of rounds. The portrait arts are pretty nice too!

It doesn't controls very well and the GUI and design is very tiny for my dumb eyes, however...

Favorite Parts: The elements are there, you have to characters in a danmaku, that can be balanced pretty nicely with their abilities, the shop seems like a very nice incentive so I really dig the concept overall, I could see myself very invested in this game if pulled out correctly!

There are two of them now?!

I could really see this being a greater game with more polish and time. The art is nice and the concept has potential there. One thing about the game is that the sound effects are too loud. Other than that, I would like to see what's up with the both of them in the future! Good work!

And thanks for letting us borrow Yui. Greatly appreciated.

guy who did the store killed it. why isnt he on the credits on this page tho?

the art for the shop was done by me! XDiamondShadeX did the pixel art and animations and I did the talksprites, some backgrounds, like the shop, and the textboxes!

you did a great job too but i was talking about the functionality/code of it! either way great game

Kind of an enigmatic game, I think. I played up until the like, 50,000 points, or probably like 20-30 rooms.

I quite like that the characters are all OCs. It's cute, and makes me wanna see more of them. The witch (who is called Koishi in the screenshot?) has a nice design, and I was looking foreward to unlocking more dialogue for her... but it seems like there's only that one set of conversation topics, which was disappointing. Really, I was a little sad that the game seemingly has no ending-- would like to see at least some conclusion, even if it was just a 5-line cutscene after 20 rooms or something.

I really liked the switching of characters as a concept, but each round is pretty short, and the fact that your health refills each round makes the separate healthbars feel kinda moot . Fun music, but the sound your projectile makes kinda hurts my ears-- it's actually half the reason I played as dashing Yui almost the whole time. The second one being that the fairies' projectiles are REALLY fast, which makes playing as projectile Yui pretty hard when they're around. The fairies showing up presence could be a good way to incentivize you to switch to dashing Yui, then back to projectile Yui once they're taken care of... but dashing Yui is so overpowered that you can just switch to her and spam leftclick and win within seconds, not having to worry about anything.

There doesn't seem to be a readme or any tutorials or descriptions of the shop items, so I have no idea what they do. After the 5th room or so, I just stopped buying them, since they seemed to do nothing. Maybe I'll give it another spin if there's an update with a readme, or tutorial, or some other kind of explanation.

In short, it was like the house of a mysterious witch who isn't home-- fun to explore for a bit, and I can see there's potential to see and experience really interesting stuff here, but it mostly gives me the feeling that I'm really missing something.
