I love this!

Main thing I would've liked to see is something to make it easier to quickly compare what the customer's order to what's in my inventory. Others have brought up having the respective GUIs closer to each other, which would help. Though my first thought was some kind of indicator, like a check mark next to each individual item in a customer's order, to make it clear that the order item is currently in the inventory. So, if you have a candy corn, then there is a check mark next to the candy corn icon the customer's order. Though maybe a feature like that might eliminate too much of the challenge.

I think we have a banger. There's so many things at play here - strategy, reaction times, RNG, [impending doom],.. Especially liked how you have to give your customers everything on their list, and can't be short any item. The game is actually pretty simple in its most basic level but there's not many layers of complexity you need to add to such a fast-paced game to give it oomf.

Overall the game is good. My only issue is that it's kinda hard to track the inventory and the order when played on a big screen because the things that we need to track are both on the bottom-left and top-right sides of the screen, but that maybe just me.

I played the game here around minute 2, if anyone wants to watch:

Nice game!

Very charming and intense game! The mechanics are kind of hard to get used to, but that's just part of the fun. Good work to you and your team!

Very well polished for the jam timeframe! Also, the art makes me smile because it's very cute, so good on that.

I'd suggest adding controls that appear on certain context because trying to remember six different controls under such a fast pace is a little daunting for a newcomer. My scores (Easy 12860, Normal 13280) say that I am not a fast thinker.

Fun Halloween themed puzzle game. It really turned out well I see.

I wonder if the orders could be put closer to the bottom of the screen, my eye has gone back and forth between the bottom of the well and the top-right of the screen more than I would like for a real-time puzzle game.

[Played on Normal for the most part]

Pretty fun concept and presentation’s as cute as a button.

I did have a few remarks about the gameplay itself:

  • It would be nice if when your inventory can serve more than one target, it would prioritize whoever has a lower timer (had more than a few losses from selecting the topmost target instead of one with a dangerously low timer)
  • It would also be nice if you could see the entire row of pieces waiting to drop, since skipping too early means not being able to see most of the row

Really love all the costumes and the overall artstyle! The gameplay is great as well, though I find myself having to spam through the columns with hopes that I somehow fill orders as the game gets faster.

This poor fairy has it rough. All of her customers could obliterate in her an instant if their orders don't get fulfilled. Anyone who's worked food service can surely empathize.

The concept is on spot and the challenge it brings to the player is definitely there.

At first it was difficult to manage with the given controls, but over time I already got accustomed to it.

The art and halloween vibe are so cute in this game that you can keep on playing the it as much as you like to, and also for beating your own score.
