Did you us any pre-existing assets in this game? If so which ones?
I did not use any pre existing assets unless 3 sound effects counts.

I also had the problem with freezing at one point, I think I was spamming buttons trying to find out what attack was because I didn't read the screen! It would have been better to have the attack on the keyboard like space or something since movement is on arrow keys (using the mouse feels weird on a platformer, especially if you're not using WSAD).  Great attempt for a first Jam game and you're only young too! You have a bright future ahead of you! Well done dude :)

Thanks for the feedback! Now thinking back it was a dumb idea to make attack a mouse button.

The game freezes for me after one minutes or so, I couldn't make the first jump even. Not sure what the reason is. The attack animation could have been a bit more obvious too. You did an amazing job for the time given and your age though, good job.

Thanks for the feedback! I honestly have no idea why this is as Ive never expierenced it. It's probably a weird webgl thing.

  • jump feels really floaty
  • found some platforms I couldn't make the jump on, but looked like I should be able to
  • went up to were the chest was, got stuck, tried dropping back down and the game basically soft locked (camera didn't come back down with me) - I couldn't get up any more platforms and the inability to go anywhere else.

Thanks for the feedback! The reason for the 3rd is because for some reason the objects I used to push the camera up didn't register as ground therefore woundn't reset your jump. I tried to compensate for this by making it take up only part of the platform but that wasn't obvious.
