This is my favourite style of game presence. That haunted mansion reminds me of my Pokémon adventures.  Love the design👍

I really really enjoyed this game, despite it being incomplete! It had so much depth and thought put into the things that were worked on! I had a lot of fun just running around seeing what you made next. The audio was great too! I am super hyped to see where this goes! Many people want aim and direction, their hands held through everything... but all of my favorite games don't have that at all, and I think it's really fun that way.  (Rainworld is a great example of this) good luck!

Thanks a lot, FeverDev! 😁 I'm very glad you like the game so far!

I also prefer games that give you the freedom to explore, rather than telling you what to do all the time. It's one of the reasons why I avoid most AAA games these days (especially from western companies).

True! And that's a good reminder too, cuz I haven't played Rainworld yet. Guess I have my evening plans now!

Honestly...I was rather confused with this one.  Other than going from house to house, I had no idea what I was supposed to do.  There was no narrative other than the text in the first house.  I collected coins but to what purpose?  Not being able to save was not cool.  That being said, this game has a very childlike innocence to it.  It was like a mish mash of ideas which was neat.  It's definitely different, not much gameplay, but I enjoyed the world and wondering what I might find behind each door.

Fair enough. I can't argue with those criticisms, and I appreciate your honesty.

The reason why the game feels so aimless is because it's very incomplete, but I'd rather submit an early build than nothing at all, ya know?

Yeah, in hindsight I agree that I should've added save points or something, but for some reason it didn't occur to me at the time... guess I'll save that for the next update.

Thanks for playing, Kumachan! And thanks for your feedback. 👍

This was super fun!

From the description,  I thought it was going to be quite bleak and depressing. But it was actually whackier than I expected! :D

I caught on to that once I saw the dancing bunny lady. that was cute.

I liked that though, I personally think even serious topics can be tackled in such a way as long as it's handled well. A lot of the adorably silly little details made me also think there was something else going on. I'm curious to see what happens next!

I think my favorite part of the game was the part of town with the little houses that have these dream-like, surreal scenarios - like the spiders and the eggs. It reminded me of Yume Nikki.

The open world was also great. I could theoretically go everywhere right from the start. Normally, I find open worlds to be very intimidating personally, but in this case it worked because exploration was fast-paced and easy.

Wow! Thank you so much for all your kind words!

Yeah, I totally agree with your opinion on serious topics, and I'm glad you think it's being handled well so far.

I love a lot of those RPG Maker horror games like Yume Nikki. The haunted mansion area was inspired by those games, too!

I'm the same way when it comes to open-world games, so it's a relief to hear that it's not too overwhelming.

Your comments were a pleasant surprise! Thank you again, IDOLL_Dev. :)

You are very welcome! And yeah the haunted mansion was cool, I actually got spooked a few times.

Yume Nikki is one of my most favorite games ever! 3 of my games were heavily inspired by Yume Nikki, including Miracle!

I haven't finished them yet but I can already tell! That's awesome :D
