Made me strain my brains!
Cool! reminds me of water girl and fire boy :)
Cool puzzle!, sometimes I jumped too high I could see the Blue Color Camera Background :)
Enjoyed it! Nice puzzle game
Very fun game! I played around with it for some time to see if I can find any potential exploits and here's what I found:
- In the last level you can jump with water through the large gap to the ending by pressing "jump" when you are on the conection of blue semi-walls
- With precise movement you can put one character on the other and walk like this for any distance
- It is possible to push and position the boxes to make them rotate and place them on higher ground
Not all exploits are useful in the five levels you have, but when adding more levels to the game you might want to consider them :)
Nice game, I like the concept how you have to support yourself. I like how many levels you have done.
So there is a problem in the 4th level where the boxes are too far apart to get over the large "lava lake". Its doable when you have 2 hearts left and use the damage knockback at the second jump with the fire character to get over it. Also you can jump inside of the horizontal walls of the character type, so you can jump inside the water with the water character. It was not intentional to solve the level like that but its really fun and challenging to do it. Me and my friends have kind of a bet who can get to the end first. Maybe you can do it too, but be aware that its not doable in the normal way :/ Might look into that when the jam is over :)
Super good game in such short development time! Cute art style and super smooth mechanics. Everything feels well executed! A job nicely done! :)
Very fun and well executed game. Controls feel responsive and graphics look good. The main menu broke on going back to it (Button misplaced and "Water" missing :D). It would have been better to also take damage on touching the other because still, they are water and fire. This would further symbolize that they don't normally fit together and have to keep distance but still can work together to overcome an obstacle.
Yeah we are aware of the main menu bug but somehow in unity and on my pc versin in works perfectly fine :/ . Getting damaged by the other player would make it hard to work with jumping on each other to get to higher positions. But from logic it would have made sence :)
Wow! Impressive entry! Challenging puzzle game with a whole lot of content for the short development time. I feel that our entries share some DNA being puzzlers with 2 characters working together that are controlled separately. Did have a couple small issues with understanding the puzzles or seeing far enough ahead, and the boxes acting a little wonky, but really solid game over all.
It was really fun, I really liked the use of the minimap to help in the levels.
Great puzzles and what a fun concept! It reminds me of fireboy and watergirl, but for some reason it feels much more like the two characters are working together, and the theme of solidarity really shines (especially when you use one to lift the other up). One issue I have is that the physics on the boxes is kind of hard to control, and I found myself getting somewhat stuck and having to pull off weird manuvers to get the boxes where I needed them.
It should be relatively easy to get the boxes where they should be . Maybe think of a different way to solve the puzzel where the boxes can be pushed to better. Or if needed restart the level and try the different route.
I love the art style and music, and it sticks to the theme of solidarity pretty well! One nitpick i have is that after finishing a level there isn't a "next level" option, but other than that its very impressive.
Thanks! A next level button would have been a good addition, might add it later.
cool grafix
Really fun and challenging game!
