Whoops, had this comment typed in a tab 3 days ago but didn't hit send xD
Thought it was too easy initially, then got insanely hard by the end, then I figured out to cut flowers in the green box to slow the spread in the red box and managed to finish. It's a cool curve and I like that you have to learn how it works and figure out a "counter."
Would be interesting to have a game with multiple similar levels but with different rules, where you have to figure it out like that each time.
Hi thank you very, much! Glad you appreciated this hidden strategy.
Great Game! I found myself dancing a little with the flowers lol
Very difficult but I like the idea! Really good job!
This is fun, but itβs too difficult to manage the plant outside of the area when everything is filled in. I think it needs rebalancing, other than that is a nice and cozy game!
When I read the rules for this game I immediately thought "Oh this'll be easy!" Boy was I wrong! Nice combination of a difficult game, but at the same time being relaxing
Hello, I absolutely loved how you managed that intensity and hardness curve ( we didn't quite achieve this π ).
Adorable, despite the UIs being a bit rough and the graphics simple, the music fits well the game. Have a nice one!
This was really fun! I know the music wasn't yours, but I was certainly jamming to it. It fit the game well so it was a good choice. I liked the simplicity and difficulty ramp. I was panicking by the end trying to get only flowers where they needed to be. I got it eventually! Nice job!
Thank you for your feedback! The end panic was something we really were aiming at, we are glad you appreciate it!
The game is fun, but I think it would be a good idea to add a scoring system or at least an objective to motivate the player to play. Otherwise original idea, it's cool
Hi, thank you for your feedback! About this "at least an objective to motivate the player to play", the win condition is to fill the box without having flowers outside. We understand we didn't make it clear.
I understand, the problem is that nothing happened when the box filled up, or at least on my side. Maybe a βYou've wonβ message or something to give the game an ending condition. Or put a reaction time timer to challenge the player to always go faster.
Sorry to hear that, it may be a bug! We will take a look. There is actually a screen that pops out when the box is filled and the outside is empty.
I was able to get the victory screen to appear, but it's really hard. I think you have to have the good area full and the bad area empty, and with flowers spawning constantly you basically have to hurry and get some lucky close spawns.
I really enjoyed the mechanics of this game. The difficulty was a little high, but with more iteration I think it could be really good. If you were looking to expand the game, then I think more levels would be good to give more pacing to the game. The core mechanic is fun.
Hi thank you very much for your feedback! We are glad you like the core mechanic. We planned to expand the game but unfortunately we didn't make it in time.
Understandable, it's a game jam game. I just like to think about what could be done to round out the games. :)
