What a fun little experience, I do agree with you that the art and the music is a BANGER. I am curious which programs you used for your art and music, because it looks like a nice variety, and it must have been a rush to get through it all in time. I liked the reveal of the even stronger enemy, and the "I will not give" trope as you kept regaining your health, that was fun. One thing I would say (because I'm an idiot) is that when the opening text began, I walked all the way to the right and crashed, because I didn't understand the chicken in front was the last boss, I has thought they were the narrator of the text.
Overall, great stuff!
I love this take on the theme. Well done! The method of combat was really fun and nostalgic for me. Please let us know if you continue working on this :)
Thanks for joining our jam!
Like the turn based combat idea, but it wasn't really clear how the spells are different form each other and the basic attack. The music was pretty cool!
Simple and fun, i love the music and the art is just incredible. Great game!
The style of the forest looks very nice, although it mismatches the chicken drawing style. This the base of a potentially great game. (and python = <3)
-Not intuitive
-Lack of animation or feedback for understanding
-The information text is the same as that of the actions
But the the fact of having done one turn per turn is interesting, good game continues!
