I was really surprised at the length of the story in this with it being the first visual novel you guys made :D Congrats on getting it out there! Like CrazyCowLady, I noticed one of the options had (WIP) on it, so I clicked the one that didn't and eventually ended up with the natural ending. And also like CrazyCowLady mentioned, I noticed some of the errors but it's honestly amazing that you managed to write it all in your mother tongue and then translate it to English in time for the end of the jam! Translation work certainly isn't easy, so every time I've come across a game in this jam that was translated, I'm just amazed by all the work that's gone into it! For me personally, I didn't find that it interrupted my reading anyhow because I could understand everything that was going on just fine :3

I really adore the art! the lack of colour really helps with the bleak atmosphere of what would have indeed been a very bleak time to live :3

I didn't realise you guys made Rubbish Rive Dash too! Although the game page says there's nothing uploaded to play, I did put the description text into Google translate to see what it was about + I downloaded the html.rar just to see if there was a way to play. I couldn't find one, but I saw like the assets and stuff, and Olivia looks so cute in the boat :3 It's such a sweet idea for a little game! And also really important in this day and age where more and more of our waterways are being polluted with rubbish >.<

Thank you for both of our game! :D

We're glad that the story and the concept we choose can be immersed into ;)

Though it has it is lacking of sound, and bad translation,  hopefully we'll be able to find the right ambience and effect to enhance the "bleak" ambience :D

as for the rubbish river dash.... well it's a submission test mistake, i've tried to contact Nai but didn't get any response, so... we're just gonna deal with it :'d

the rubbish river dash was made with other artist, we had bad communication back then, and the result was narrative skips and lack of clarity which object can be interacted but we're glad that you enjoyed our little game :)

(late replies due to my computer is being serviced for 2 days)

Congratulations on finishing your first VN! It's a step most people never reach as they quit before they are ever done :)

The art in this VN is mind-blowing. There are so many backgrounds, I'm amazed you got all of those done within a single month.

The story is long for a first try, you got a lot done, even if one option still said WIP.

As far as the writing goes, there are some errors here and there. I write for our VNs and it happens to me a lot as well! That's why I have my trusty editor catching most of the awkward phrases and typos I hide all over the story.

It's always good to have another pair of eyes (or three pairs, or four, haha) to look over the VN, since as an author, it's very difficult to catch your own mistakes. After all, *you* know what you're trying to say!

That being said, I know it's very difficult to find a proper editor to help out. Still, never give up if you're struggling to find one :)

I saw that one option said WIP, so I'm guessing you'll continue this VN now that the jam is over? Good luck and have fun with that! Maybe you could also add some more atmospheric background music while you're at it.

By the way, I got the "natural" ending. It was quite gruesome, as expected from a horror game, haha :D

Good luck on your future projects, maybe I'll see another game of yours in a different jam down the road!

Whoa, thank you for playing and the detailed feedback you gave us. We really appreciated it!
The credit goes to the hardworking artists, and  as for the story we created the jams in our mother tongue first, then we translated as we put it in the engine in a hurry,  which decreased the overall quality and we're sorry for that :(

But we're glad that you played it to the end with the "Natural" ending :d

Thank you, and may we meet again in different Jams :D

Don't be sorry, you did amazingly for a first game and errors happen to everyone. We're all rushed during jams and have to cut corners. The most important part is actually submitting a game!

I'm also not a native speaker and you won't believe how many stupid mistakes my editor has to catch because of that :)

Now that the jam is over, you have all the time in the world to change whatever you aren't happy with and expand the story as you see fit.
