It's a challenging game, but it's really well polished, the feeling is great! Also, the sound design is perfect. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing Kenairod!

I tried it out and found the controls incredibly frustrating but the concept itself was enticing. I kept trying to get better, but it seems I was fighting a losing battle. I didn't like the window going up when I tried to jump so I played it fullscreen, and learned later from another comment that the inputs don't work right when playing that way.

I imagine it wouldn't have been so unbearably difficult if I could reliably jump, haha. A shame, but I can see what you were going for. I did discover a bug however. As shown in the image below, following the red line I drew on there, if you slide in to the right side of the glass just right or just fast enough (not sure what happened), you end up phasing through the ice cubes, both of them. I gave up after that.

Problems aside, I loved the idea of it and the art! I also like that you gave very fast and infinite retries. If I could get the controls to work I would've kept playing longer.

Ah yes, the ol’ climb the glass collider and phase through the cubes trick ;) Glad you found it, wish I had an achievement for ya. Thanks for playing and for the detailed review.

What ice cubes, I cant see them, its impossible to play.

Developer

That’s a real problem and would sure make an already hard game almost impossible. Not sure why the platforms don’t render on some browsers. Weird. Thanks for trying anyway!

i never thought i would be emotionnaly invested into a bubble

Developer

Would you say your heart was overflowin’ with concern for the little fella? ;) thanks for playing.

I really like the aesthetic and platforming! I guess you can say it was a refreshing gaming experience :D

i don't know where to go :/ seems like the platforms are invisible
great job on the sound design though!

a little unbalanced(

Developer

I think you mean, very unbalanced;)

at the last jam, many children cried on the wall of the game, that my criticism and recommendations are very rude, and they are under 18 and this makes them cry... 80% of the comments were snotty - so I decided to write softly, like with children, so as not to hurt the tender ones feelings.

self-criticism helps you grow, the main thing is not to oppress yourself.

and with a sense of humor, you can also come up with good ideas))) I know it from myself)))

Nice challenge! It took some time to get used to the slipperiness, but it was worth it for the satisfaction.
Ended with a time of 94, and 27 Splashes

Developer(+1)

Nice time and splash count! Thanks for checking it out.

Nothing to do with the theme. What overflows?

Developer

Hey Aha. Thanks for playing!  I think the theme idea, was that the glasses are in danger of overflowing with liquid. And, the little carbonated molecule needs to overflow out of the glass in order to fulfill its destiny of escaping the glass.

Submitted

Right but the glass never overflows, and the glass overflowing is not the main danger in any way. (I don't even think its possible to make that happen?) It is also to my knowledge never implied within the game.

Great points. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

A classical plateformer that matches perfectly the them! I love the graphics, good job :)

Developer

Hey Proyd. Loved your game!  Thanks for the review.

great game! only thing i would change is to make the movement less slippery

Developer

Indeed. It is a very slippy game.  Thanks for playing and for the review.

Submitted

The movement was a bit too slippery, and the jumping sound was a bit annoying after a while, but all in all, it's a fun game.

Developer

Thanks for the review JustInShape.  It is very slippy indeed. I was going for that ice cube vibe.

Nice work this game fit the theme better than most. this was good fun I'm not ashamed to say i got 101 for time and 27 splashes. Not sure how I measure up but I felt good about it. The slippery surface was tricky but fun. I like how you have to mitigate the speed and accuracy nice rick reward mechanic. thanks for the fun game. Good Luck

Developer

Thanks for playing Two Felt.  27 splashes is, top tier. Nice job.

Brutal difficulty, very pleasant to look at. Movement is a bit slippy which doesnt feel GREAT on tight platforming, but i had a great time overwise.
Time: 196
Splashes: 58

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! It's a respectable score :) Great job. They platforms are supposed to be ice cubes, so I went nearly as slippy as I could.

looks good, no issues running game, fit the theme, very nice!

Developer

Yay! Thank you.

Loved how the game handles the proposed theme. I just think it needs more visual cue about having collision or not on the side of the platforms. Also, I wasn't able to play properly because in full screen, the input didn't work, while on theater mode, the page kept going up.

Developer

Sorry the controls didn't work on full screen. The "page kept going up" problem... word, I probably should have gone WASD.  Thanks for playing anyway!

Submitted

Infuriating, but lovely. Game looks amazing, and nice interpretation of the theme!

Developer(+1)

Thanks Magic.  My kids described it the same way...with out the "lovely" part.  Thanks for playing.

Very good idea! A nice background for a well executed 2d platformer. Things get hard pretty quickly but that'll require some tries to master it!
The UI is pretty basic but I guess you just lacked time as  the water animation is really good

Developer

Hey thanks Le Double, I agree it gets hard fast. Was pressed for time, for sure :)
